We had a lovely stay at Mt. Coolidge Motel. Very quiet and clean, and seating (and grille) by the river right behind the motel. Great to put your feet into that river after a hike! The owners were very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. If you're sensitive to light when you sleep, you might bring a sleep mask, because the bright outside lights at night shine through the curtains...

Quiet and convenient spot
First time staying here. It was easy to find and convenient to where we wanted to be. The other guests were super friendly too! Does need a little updating but the owner stated they are working on the updates. And with our room being a cabin from 1903 it was perfect

The common area along the river was my favorite. Enjoyed the pool. The owner was very pleasant and helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again

Property was much older than in the pictures. Rooms were very smelly. Had to go out and buy own fan to use. Staff were hesitant to give more than one pillow or one towel per person. Microwave and ice machine were outside. Was allowed one k cup per person. No fan. AC didnt cool room. When windows were open smoke filled your room from firepit or smokers in the front. Pool was nice but very small.

Harder then it had to be
We had two rooms booked. The one with two beds was quite spacious but the one with a king bed had just enough space for the bed. Huge difference without much of a change in price. They were also as far apart as possible. They were on totally opposite ends of the room strip. The person at the check in desk spoke zero English and couldn't find my reservation. It took quite a bit of time. He had to call someone so they could interpret over the phone. The paperwork for check in had a different price, lower, then what I was actually charged which made it very confusing. They informed me the lower rate was the normal cost but the Hotel.com rate was higher because of fees they need to pay to get the booking. The room itself was fine and the staff was pleasant.
