The Lodge is good to spend a day or two. No restaurant at the property. I drove into town to eat. Not to many choices of places to eat.

The room was comfortable and overall very clean, and though I did find a dead insect under my pillow and a live one under the comforter I don’t feel like that’s the norm. Great water pressure in the shower. The highway is loud, but that didn’t bother me and the location is central to a lot of sights nearby.

Fall foliage a little late but still beautiful
Check in was quick. The lady (so sorry I forgot her name) was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Location was great next to a wonderful restaurant and on Kanc Hwy.

We were very disappointed with this place. The rooms are Very dated. There is no service to clean the rooms or restock the room. If you need something you need to go to the office. There is no sound proofing. You can hear the people in the next room. Also it is right next to a busy road and the road noise is really bad. The window coverings are really bad and need replacement or repairs and do not fully close, which is a problem as there are lights right outside the room which stay on until very late (2am). Although it said there is a microwave it is not in the room, but in the office, so if you want to heat something you need to go out to the office and hope it is open (limited hours). The fan in the bathroom sounds louder than an aircraft. The "deck" is small and looks out on the busy road and is covered with weather worn carpeting which does not work well as it retains water. The shower head is at my chest level so I have to stoop in the shower. The pillows in the room are the cheap small solid foam type. The staff is friendly which is the only good thing I can say about this place. I would Not recommend it nor return here. They really need to invest in upgrades and repairs at the price they charge.

When we booked this hotel for two night we did expect room service and the Bar and Restaurant to be open as this was booked for during the Fall. When we arrived these were not open and room service was not being provided. If we had known this before we would nit have booked this hotel

A little dated and noisy from the traffic
The best thing was the friendly Check-in. However the room is dated with damaged furniture and the mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. It’s very close to the road and there is a lot of traffic noise from early in the morning. On two occasions found a nasty looking insect crawling round the bath. They still advertise Rita us and you can fins the breakfast menu online. Apparently it’s been closed since Covid which explains why the menu prices looked so reasonable.

It was clean and comfortable. The pool looked nice, but we were too busy elsewhere to go for a swim. The coffee in the room was awful, but there is a coffee shop within walking distance.

We love staying at the Kancamagus Motor Lodge! We have been going there for over 25 years. Very welcomjng staff. The room was very clean..just wish they would replace the bedspreads that have been there almost 20 years.The indoor pool is amazing. We love the on-site sports pub, CJ's. Very good food. Disappointed they closed Brittany's for breakfast. Been closed for years but we still miss it! However, many breakfast options in close proximity.
