Early Week Break

Really great location, and in lovely surroundings. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was very clean and a good size. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

We stayed in room 202 and throughout the night there was an air conditioning unit/washing machine noise all night preventing sleep. My partner visited the night staff to enquire what the noise was. They said they would check the adjoining storage room. This was still ongoing in the morning. Staff were outside the property directly below chatting whilst smoking in the morning. The pub is a great addition for food and our little one enjoyed the outdoor facilities.

This is the second time we have stayed at Woodcocks. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the surrounding area is lovely with walks along the canal and a pretty marina close by.

Absolutely first class place to stay!

Second time I've stayed at Woodcocks. Absolutely wonderful. I can't think of anything at all to say against it. Nice rooms, fabulous restaurant, great food and service, plenty of outdoor space/seating and a very attractive price. Just brilliant. We'll be staying again.

Evening meals were value for money and a good selection. The one and only time I had the cooked breakfast, the mushrooms were burnt and the scrambled egg looked more like a well cooked fried egg chopped up! And, no I didn`t complain as I needed to get to work. I probably would have said something, had I been asked how the breakfast was?
