Fantastic hotel. It use to be a Monastery. I loved.how it uses keys to the rooms and you turn in the keys everytime you leave. The staff were amazing and nice. Only downfall is there is not safe in the room and no elevator from ground floor to reception desk.

Hotel Wolfinger is an elegant old hotel that has been upgraded. It is beautiful. The room was huge with windows that looked onto the square. The bed (called a double) was more like a king size bed and there was a couch in the room as well as a desk. The bathroom and toilet were separate which offers convenience. The location was great. Easy walking to everything. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was a great huge buffet with all the delicious European treats-- every kind of bread, rolls, cereals, cheeses, salamis/meats, yogurt, etc etc, and of course every kind of coffee or tea. Absolutely lovely!

A charming hotel in a great location, right in the heart of Linz. The room was large, comfortable and furnished with classic wooden furniture. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed. The location is unbeatable, with all the attractions of Linz nearby. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and the Danube is a short walk away. It's a quirky, old building with plenty of character - a really interesting place to stay. The staff were really helpful. Parking was available at Hauptplatz Tiefgarage for around €25 a day. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the car park.

Really lovely hotel with great location right by tram station and friendly bilingual staff. Room had great ac and very clean lovely washroom. We could not have had a better location right in old town center. Breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful.

I love this hotel. It's a very homey quirky well maintained old building on the main square in Linz, which is a very pleasant Bavarian town. I've stayed here many times and every room has been charming. The breakfast is also pretty good and the staff is terrific! Generally i think that if you have been traveling hard and need a place to rest and regroup, Linz would be a good place to spend a couple of days, and this would be a good hotel.
