Beautiful place

Great location and friendly staff . Upgraded to suite which was beautiful. Good breakfast. Only negative was husband had picked up a coffee at starbucks next door and tried to go to bar to have before bed cocktails and told he could not bring it in so we left. I think if we were going to order drinks in bar that this should have been allowed. As I said otherwise just a beautiful property with very friendly staff and very good breakfast.

Historic Hotel in Historic Lisbon

Perfect central location. Walk to river, access to train and metro, taxi stand across street. You cannot find a better location for central historic Lisbon. Breakfast in dining room was perfect with attentive staff and more than you could ask for.

We enjoyed a 4-night stay at beautiful Avenida Palace, Lisbon. Our twin room was larger than other hotels we stayed in, and the room was refreshed as needed daily. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A great buffet breakfast is provided. The location of the hotel is perfect for strolling to restaurants, tourist shops, and to the water where boat tours can be booked. Trams, buses, and hop-on-off tour buses are around the corner. It's a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport. Very convenient for everything. We were pleased with the hotel and its staff and would highly recommend it.

This hotel is a classic in the middle of the action in Lisbon. Not only is it a beautiful property, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the morning breakfast is excellent. I’d highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Very ornate and classic hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating, ensuring we had food in our room by 4:00 a.m. due to an early flight, and a car waiting for us at 4:30 a.m. to get to the airport. Would love to stay again!
