Very responsive staff via WhatsApp. Very accommodating with allowing us to drop off our luggage earlier than check in. So close to everything! Will just need a few updates to make it even better like having a place for toiletries in the shower, better and more pillows (but they gave us more when we requested), replace the bed frame as the leather was crusty and flaking off, and having coffee mugs. It’s a big enough space for the 3 of us so we were comfortable. Will definitely stay there again!

We are recently stayed at "Casas da Baixa" in Lisbon, and it was an incredibly pleasant experience. The one-bedroom apartment was surprisingly spacious, even by North American standards, providing plenty of room to relax. The kitchenette was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, and the entire apartment was impeccably clean. The Wi-Fi was strong, and the fast internet connection was perfect for staying connected during the trip. The location is very convenient – within walking distance of Alfama, shopping at the Pingo Doce supermarket, and close to public transportation, including the #25 streetcar, nearby subway stations, and the elevator to Alfama. The staff was exceptionally helpful. All communication was handled through WhatsApp, and any issues were resolved promptly by the next business day. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend "Casas da Baixa - Jules & Madeleine" to anyone visiting Lisbon. It’s a great choice for comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

Centrally located, but basic and a bit noisy
Jules and Madeleine took great care of us when our phone was left at the airport and we had to call from another cell number. The location was great but very noisy. No cleaning services were provided during the 4 nights we were there, but we didn't require the service. Some friendly suggestions would be to include: instructions on how to use the stove and microwave, a couple of extra kitchen towels, coffee pods, bath towels and toilet tissue. The apartment had the bare necessities but was nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Plenty of restaurants and small grocery/convenience stores nearby. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Nicely updated and attractive looking apartment. Once you close the window, you dont hear any noise from outside. The area is safe and the apartment building is quiet as well. We would stay here again.

I liked the apartment and its proximity to the city’s most popular places. It was easy to get to every place either by walking or taking public transportation. It is in a very busy neighborhood but once you close the windows you don’t hear anything anymore! I felt privileged staying so close to everything! The only small complaint I have is that there was no hook in the entire apartment to hang anything on, a coat or a towel! The apartment is very tight and it would have been nice to hang up some things instead of laying it on the valuable counter space that you have very little of.

We enjoyed our stayed at this apartment, the location is excellent very close to all shops and restaurants, it is clean and pretty quite. We had 2 issues here, one was that the bottom of the bed was peeling the whole time making the room and our feet dirty , the second issue was that the faucet in the bathroom sink is not installed central in the sink making it impossible to wash your face, we had to wash face in the kitchen sink. Other than than it was a great place

The apartment was very nice and airy. Check in was easy. Location was great for walking everywhere. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The only negative I could think of is if someone had to sleep on the pull out sofa, it was pretty hard.

We booked a property with these people. A week before they notified us that there was a problem with the apartment. They gave us two options to cancel it or they had a hotel that we could select for the same cost. I did think it was great that they did not leave us high and dry at the last minute. The hotel they selected was very nice and may have cost them more then we paid. The real negative for us was that it was not in the downtown area which is always a requirement for us. it took anywhere from 18 minutes to 30 minutes to get downtown and there was no place to go out near the hotel. Often we came back to the hotel instead of staying out a bit longer because some of the group wanted to come back and it wasn't worth getting two ubers. Definitely changed the dynamic for our trip. I wish I could have posted this without having to give scores, but thought people should know that at least you won't ever be left without a place to stay at the last minute.

The apartment was easy to access and in a perfect location. The unit was very nice and visually appealing and clean. The only negative was that the coffee machine did not work, but had it been working, they even left some pods to get us started. I’d stay there again and recommend it to friends

Overall good experience. Our issue was the shower and toilette, both small for an average person. The shower door opened inwards and there was not enough space to get in without getting squashed to the wall. The door should open outward and have proper seal. This was the comfort apartment 4C. Location is good close to everything. Cozy. We booked as Pay at Property but that is not accurate as they requested payment online ( not via Expedia) to provide the entry code.
