This was my first time traveling to Europe with my 1.5 year old and I could not be happier with this hotel and experience. Everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. I had a reservation at a hard to book restaurant (Ponto Final, absolutely delicious btw!!) at 12:30pm on the day we arrived to Lisbon. Our flight landed at 8am and we got to the hotel around 10. I had never checked in early at a hotel (and I’ve been to 11 other countries) and this Hotel made it so incredibly easy! They kept my bags and let us stay in their upstairs lounge area and asked housekeeping to get our room ready first- without hesitation! They had the room ready in less than 40 minutes. Because of this we were able to make it to the reservation (which we had to take a ferry to!) The room was spacious and the AC was GREAT which is not typical for Europe! We did not dine at the restaurant downstairs but we did have buffet breakfast before check-out when we left, which was not very good. It’s buffet style and $15 per person. There are hundreds of brunch places in Lisbon that are so so so good. The hotel was very clean and overall comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very well located and exceptionally clean. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming — especially the front desk team, who take the time to explain everything in detail and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The entire property is spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast is spectacular, and the restaurant is excellent — great food and service. Overall, it was a wonderful surprise and a truly pleasant experience. I would definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly & accommodating, which made the experience feel welcoming from the start. The location was absolutely perfect, convenient & close to everything we needed. One area that could use improvement is the food options. As a vegan traveler, I found it disappointing that there were very limited (if any) plant-based choices available,. With more people adopting dietary preferences or restrictions, offering vegan options would go a long way. Overall, a great stay with wonderful service, & I’d gladly return but the food selection should become a bit more inclusive.

Lovely hotel with the friendliest staff. We were celebrating our joint birthday and got upgraded to a suite topped with a welcoming birthday sweet treat in our room! Buffet breakfast was also delicious - a variety of foods to choose from with takeout containers available as we were headed for a road trip to the Algarve. Would highly recommend this hotel!!

The property definitely was not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. It's beds were misshapen and uncomfortable and the room had a dirty stench to it. The toilet did not flush well and everytime we flushed the bathroom smelt like sewage. There were holes in the decorative blanket and the shower didn't have proper sealing so everytime we showered, a gallon of water would spill out onto the bathroom floor. I could go on, but these were the major issues we never dealt with when it comes to staying at a 4 star hotel. Oh! And Expedia labeled it as a property close to a gym facility, but staff informed us the nearest gym was 20 minutes away. In terms of location, it could not be any better, but the hotel is in terrible condition.

Don’t have enough good things to say about this hotel. Extremely affordable option in the heart of Lisbon. They were so sweet with our toddler and had a crib set up for us upon our arrival. It’s right near everything you want to see and do and the staff is amazing. Will be coming back here!

Best Room in Lisboa!!

This was our first visit to Lisbon. The Internacional Design Hotel was a wonderful place to stay with a great location! Everything was within walking distance and the food at the hotel was delicious. They had quite a spread for the continental breakfast! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view on the fourth floor corner room was spectacular especially since we were there for our anniversary! We would highly recommend this hotel!

Centrally located, if in a rather busy area. Location is close to 2 subway stations (Rossio-Green line and Restauradores - Blue line) and the Rossio train station (to go to Sintra). There are lots (and lots) of restaurants close by, the steps to Chiado, shopping, etc.... You can't ask for more but that makes it a rather busy area. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Would return to this hotel when Lisbon
