Fantastic hotel - beautiful rooms with all amenities! Felt super luxurious at a very reasonable price tag. Great location! Staff were really helpful and coffee from the cafe was delicious!

Great hotel that used to be a convent. The only thing is that they charge 30 euro if you want your room two hours before the check in time of 4:00. They clean your room only if you stay more than 7 days. The shower door is so tight you have to be pressed against the wall to get in and out of the shower. I left my wallet at reception and the receptionist noticed but didn’t bother to leave the counter to tell me. I had to realize it wasn’t with me, panic, search for it everywhere, until I went to reception to ask and the guy said yeah I saw you walking away earlier and just figured you’ll come back anyway.

Comfortable Central Hotel

Comfortable, conveniently located, and affordable. Would stay here again. Never tried the breakfast as it’s overpriced, but the Balcão du Marques bakery nearby was fantastic and a much cheaper option. Loved the in-room amenities like kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine.

From arrival until departure everything was vey nice. Front desk was extremely friendly especially Priscilla. She greeted us and showed us a room to rest until our room was ready. She also offered us suggestions on restaurants and local attractions. Restaurants were excellent.

We wish we could have stayed longer at this lovely hotel! It was spotless, had everything you could need in the apartment style room, and very stylish. We loved how comfortable the bed was. The cafe was great, and we ate at the Mediterranean restaurant which was really good. If we were staying longer we would have tried the other restaurant too. The ground were lovely and everything was designed in such a beautiful curated way. The location is also great for exploring the city. We look forward to coming back to Lisbon to stay in this hotel again and would recommend for both short and longer stays. 10/10

The property was gorgeous. The staff was helpful and would assist immediately. The hotel is very close to multiple restaurants and a train station. The staff also has no problem explaining things. It was cool that there was two restaurants and a cafe inside.

Hotel room with good value

Great location to stay. Close to metro and restaurants, safe area to walk around, not as crowded as downtown. Room has mini kitchen and washing machine. Bed is comfortable. Like home away from home.

My partner and I stayed at Locke de Santa Joana for ten days celebrating my 50th birthday and our one year anniversary, and it did not disappoint. Everything from the customer service to all of the hidden gems throughout the grounds, left us awed. I highly, and I mean HIGHLY recommend the Locke. We will most certainly return. Obrigada muito!

Beautiful property set in a thoughtfully redeveloped monastery. Our room was incredibly cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable long weekend stay. Just a heads-up—make sure to book ahead if you plan to dine at the hotel’s restaurants. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t make any effort to help us find a table, which was disappointing. Our experience with the restaurant host was not a pleasant one. Aside from that, everyone else we encountered was lovely, which is why I’m giving the staff a 4-star rating overall.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and kind. My room was nice. It was smaller Then in the pictures but perfectly fine since I was traveling solo. The only complaint about the room is the smell in the bathroom. I did tell the front desk twice but nothing was done about it so I just kept the bathroom door closed the entire time I was there. I didn’t really explore any of the onsite facilities but went to the bars once for a few mins and they were nice, gym room was small but had enough weights to do a proper workout. The location of the hotel is actually really great! It’s walkable to pretty much everything. About a 20 min walk to Rossio Square and Augusta Arch which was my personal favorite spot to sit by the water and read. There’s a whole lot of shopping stores by Rossio square. On the walk from the hotel to the square there is also a lot of luxury stores as well. Overall I enjoyed my entire trip and very happy to have chosen this hotel. I felt safe and peaceful the whole time. They also have a little coffee shop by check in where I got my coffee each morning and the staff there are very friendly as well. I would recommend this hotel and highly recommend visiting Lisbon in general! Beautiful city! Very charming especially at night. There’s always people out and about and at no point did I feel unsafe.

First off, the staff was excellent no matter who was at the desk. They were very helpful and patient with my questions. Room was a studio with a partial partition between bed and kitchen. Roomy enough for one. Metro stop Marquee de Pombal was a quick walk. Train stations required a metro ride or a 20 minute walk. Hotel was a block away from Lisbon’s version of Rodeo Drive. In the other direction was a handy grocery store. The only odd thing was there was no clock or phone in the room, so no wake up calls. This almost proved disastrous.
