Beautifully restored 18th century classic building with very comfortable modern room amenities-including top notch bathroom and shower. Excellent breakfast in the dining area and sitting room-the fireplace is gorgeous. The 24 hour coffee/tea accessibility and snacks is a nice touch. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend for a return!

Good location for touring the city. All the staff (mainly young) were amazing - friendly & helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Having 24 hour access to coffee & cake in the restful lounge was a real bonus too.

Nice hotel but beware the noise
Hotel was in a good location, check-in was a smooth process. The room was a bit small.but good size bathroom and functional. Good value for the price. All day coffee, snacks, and included breakfast is nice. Only thing that was rough and to be aware of, we were on the first floor street side of the building and the noise was incredible. I usually can sleep through a lot but it was very disruptive.

The staff was most helpful in recommending and securing dining reservations. The hotel was clean; with the room and dining room always neat. The location was next to the castle and other historic areas. We quickly learned the shortcuts and elevators to avoid climbing the hills.

Lovely hotel in Baixa. Near the main plaza. Easy access to Alfama. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast options. Very clean property. Nice toiletries. Felt very safe. Only thing to know is that there are hills on both sides of the property. Would recommend the property.
