Very convenient hotel. Unique interior design but ver spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet was quality and hotel set on a main thoroughfare making touring and shopping very easy

Truly one of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and really helped to set the mood for our entire stay. The property is historic, and we enjoyed a little walk around the palace using a paper guide to find hidden frescos and a chapel while sipping our complimentary welcome glass of port. Our room was incredibly comfortable, with every little detail of our room design and guest care being thought of. A little wine to shampoo and a sweet treat were left every night for us. The area is nice, with a lookout, local Portuguese food tavernas, and a historic tram at its foot. Cannot recommend highly enough-the Palacio Ludovice was the highlight of our whole trip!

I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s classy, modern and it has retained many aspects of the original building from the 18th century. The staff were amazing…warm welcome, so helpful and friendly. It’s a great location - I would definitely stay here again!

This property was located in a very busy and popular area. It was across the street from the funicular which made it easy to travel into the downtown area. The staff was amazing of the property was gorgeous but our room was insanely difficult to get to. It would take well over a minute walking around the floor is up and downstairs in order to reach our room. I would recommend this property to anyone but to not get room number 108 it is believe me you don’t want that room

Housekeeping was extremely attentive. Snacks were waiting for us every afternoon. The Wine Experience, or flight of 3 wines and some bites, was a great way to connect with the sommelier and some other guests. Breakfast had a ton of good options and a wide enough timeframe to accommodate early risers and late sleepers. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit. A number of terrific restaurants within walking distance, our favorites were: Cevicheria and José Avillez’s Mini Bar.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms with great decorations, furnishings and beds/sheets. Rooms were spacious, as was the bathroom. Great location in Principe Real and walkable to many of the main attractions. Our room was a deluxe and we had a great view of the city and the castle. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Bar area was great and the restaurant area was beautiful. We only ate breakfast there (which was very nice) but people seemed to enjoy lunch and dinner. I would stay again in a minute and would recommend to anyone.
