Majestic property situated on beautifully landscaped grounds. Great views of the 25 de Abril Bridge and a short drive into both downtown Lisbon or Costa da Caparica if you're looking for beautiful beaches and dining along the coast. The hotel breakfast buffet was top notch and service all around was excellent. Highly recommend!

Terrible hard bed no mattress topper on it for one night it was like sleeping in the floor when raised with management told no one else had an issue - the next night the bed had a topper on. Sunbeds awful, no service by the pool would not recommend.

Wonderful oasis

This place is an oasis of calm and nature on the city with two pools and amazing breakfasts, really comfortable rooms and a whole spa. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely and not touristy but it’s still really convenient. The service is top notch, Deborah who works at breakfast and the pool bar is an incredibly professional and lovely person and so is Luisa who is part of the breakfast crew. We will be back for sure!

We had very nice room ! We liked the park and the pool. Breakfasts were really good! I did not like a gym. Machines are old and AC did not work properly during our stay.

This is a palace suited for a prince/princess. Has olden style victorian decor and furnishings. Great staff. They constantly spray scents around the propety so it will smell exquisite. Everything is great except the rooms have no sound isolation so you will hear what other people are doing next door especiallh when they do xxx but thats ok as long as they are not noisy all the time.

While the location is easy to taxi to all major sites and the gardens, pool and setting are good the hotel is very tired. We had a garden suite and our view (seen below) was of weeds and the room itself was incredibly tired, felt dark with the windows blowing open and roof had water damage. Breakfast was a mass attack with conference attendees and wedding guests so very little service around for coffee or extras beyond the buffet. The main house was a series of spectacular rooms with aging furniture that while period were showing signs of their age, both in terms of comfort and looks. The hotel has the potential but alas is like a visit to an overused hotel in need of investment. Maybe 4 star but definitely not 5 and had it been marketed as that we may have given a better rating.
