Great location, unbelievable service from the staff . The food at olive restaurant is superb. Clean and comfortable bed , and walking distance to all the nice areas in old town . Will definitely book this hotel again!

New Year’s Eve couldn’t have been better in Lisbon, Portugal. With its vibrant neighborhood close to everything you need to experience in Portugal, Pestana Rua Pestana Augusta Lisboa is the perfect place to stay in Lisbon. From one of the best front line staff- concierge, receptionists, manager, housekeeper, we made Rua Pestana Augusta Lisboa our home away from home in Europe for New Year’s.

Fantastic location for NYE as it's right around the corner from Plaza Comercial. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the central heater that made our rooms too hot, it took 3 nights to get it fixed and then we just ended up turning off the thermostat completel because even the central fan was blowing in hot air. Also, one of our 3 rooms had a distinct mold smell. Notified management & the housekeeper that came to pour bleach down the drain said it is a reoccuring issue. The bleach did get rid of the smell. If staying at this hotel I would request a room on the 4th or 5th floor so you can leave the windows open overnight without too much noise or cigarette smoke wafting in. The staff and housekeeping were very nice and responsive.

Really good location, close to everything in the Baixa district. The rooms are on the smaller end but are clean. It is a bit noisy due to street level noise but it doesn't go on all night.

The hotel is in a great location next to square, restaurants and shops. If you get a room facing the courtyard or Sketchers it can be a bit noisy on the weekends but it usually stops 11pm. The rooms are beautiful. The family suite is nice because it has a separate door and the futon folds out like abed. Perfect for kids.

Love this hotel! It was in the best area for walking and being central to everything. Was easy to walk to/from the metro. Bonus, it’s right beside the arch and the square is right behind the hotel. If you wake up early, you can get nice photos with any crowds!

Overall it is a great property. Be aware it is a very lively neighborhood. Loud music and noise outside until very late. If you prefer quiet place, stay somewhere else. The restaurant Olive is great.

Gorgeous, well located
Loved this hotel! Would stay here again. Could not have a better location -- steps off the Metro and close to restaurants and the waterfront. We visited in the off season, so I won't speak to value versus price in summer (don't know) -- but for our visit, it was a great price for the value. The rooms were so chic and thoughtfully laid out. I had a bit of noise from my neighbors to one side, but it didn't ruin the experience overall.

This Place is a Gem
On the plus side, we chose this hotel based on location and it did not disappoint. Lots of great attractions next door or down the street. Great options for dining just a short walk away. The hotel's decor is modern and simple, but very elegant. Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and excellent quality sheets. The room was very clean and well appointed. The one item that needed work was that the floor was a bit noisy to walk on. Otherwise, this is a gem and we would recommend it completely.
