Set in a beautiful location overlooking the Atlantic, it is a lovely place. Not too far from Sintra or Lisbon, it still feels quite removed. The room was very nice, and the bed very comfortable. Connecting to WiFi was a challenge, and unworkable from our room. Taxi service was also a challenge. But overall, we enjoyed our brief stay.

Peaceful place with little to no service

Very lovely and peaceful property with great views. Breakfast was nice. Bit hard to get anything you needed. Staff dont apeak a lot of English, and if you ask for something using Google translate to help you (our TV didnt work the entire time we stayed) its impossible to get that sorted as they don't seem to want to. Danny (the manager) is available by text or whatsapp but he did seem to respond better to things we wanted to buy (like wine tours and massages) than fixing TVs! The rooms are nicely furnished by in need of some love - there were patches of damp on the walls in our which had bee badly painted over so they still looked bad. We did overall have a nice stay though. I wouldnt not recommend it, but dont expect a full service offering when you get there.

Mycket trevligt hotell pÄ vingÄrd! Positivt Àr de vackra omgivningarna, bra frukost, trevlig personal, fina rum. Negativt (om nÄgot) Àr att det Àr lÄngt till nÀrmsta matvarubutik, du mÄste ha bil. Miljön Àr vÀldigt fuktig, ingenting torkar (varken inne eller ute). Restaurang med fantastisk mat finns pÄ gÄngavstÄnd ifrÄn hotellet. Personalen pÄ hotellet Àr mycket vÀnliga, de talar dock inte speciellt bra engelska, sÄ man fÄr kommunicera med Google Translate om nÄgot hÀnder vilket var lite jobbigt. Goda viner finns att köpa pÄ plats.

**Attention - Google Map nous achemine à une entrée du vignoble hors service et non à la réception ** Accueil expéditif... le préposé étant préoccupé par un autre évÚnement. Rien n'est gratuit dans la chambre... tout est payant! TrÚs belle et grande chambre au décor unique avec terrasse offrant une vue incroyable, Transats, table, chaises et parasol ! Site au panorama incroyable... piscine, vignoble, aménagement paysager !

Un environnement calme et paisible. Un check-out plutĂŽt tardif (12H) & la possibilitĂ© de profiter de la piscine aprĂšs ce dernier Mais un rapport qualitĂ©/prix Ă  revoir (274€ la nuit), car quelques « dĂ©tails » Ă  rectifier (odeur forte d’humiditĂ© dans la chambre, fenĂȘtre de la salle de bain cassĂ©e & tombe littĂ©ralement sur nos affaires personnelles, 1 seule serviette de douche pour 2, 1 seule serviette piscine pour 2, tire-bouchons cassĂ©, 1 chaise pour 2 sur la terrasse privĂ©e, 1 transat cassĂ© & inutilisable sur la terrasse privĂ©e, propretĂ© moyenne de la chambre (tĂąches sur les serviettes, les tapis, insectes sur le plafond de la douche, traces d’usure dans les wc, verres de vin dans la chambre avec une mauvaise odeur), 1 jaccuzzi commun restĂ© couvert & Ă  la propretĂ© plutĂŽt douteuse & qui n’invite pas Ă  s’y plonger, & 1 petit-dĂ©jeuner plutĂŽt moyen pour un prix aussi Ă©levĂ© (par exemple, on s’attend Ă  un jus d’orange frais plutĂŽt qu’à un jus en brique) Nous ne cherchons pas Ă  ĂȘtre rabaissants, mais plutĂŽt Ă  ĂȘtre justes dans le rapport qualitĂ©/prix. Un petit peu plus d’amour ferait toute la diffĂ©rence, & nous n’aurions absolument rien Ă  redire :-) Nous pensons que les remarques constructives peuvent apporter beaucoup. Mycket fint stÀlle! Det finns bara 8 rum pÄ boendet och vi kÀnde oss nÀstan helt sjÀlva vid den fina poolen en av dagarna. Det Àr ett mÄste att ha bil om du ska bo hÀr. Det finns flera strÀnder (branta stigar) bara 10-15 minuter bort med bil som mÄste besökas om du har fysiken för det. Allt var toppen förutom en liten detalj, Wi-Fi pÄ rummet hade dÄlig tÀckning.
