Clean, comfortable and great location

We arrivedat 9:30 AM after an overnight flight. We were thriiled that ourroom was ready and we were allowed to check in. Staff were friendly efficient. We were offered a glass of Port and a pastel de Nata. Room was clean and confortable. Coffee was delicious!. Windows overlooking the street were soundproof. We stayed one night before our tour and will stay one nught here at the end. Highly recommend this hotel!

GREAT STAY AT ROSSIO

The stay was very comfortable and ALL the staff were super nice and accommodating! The location of the hotel is AMAZING but the only thing was that the shower kept leaking and the floor in our bathroom was always wet but that was probably just our bathroom.

Staff were welcoming and nice. When we were oriented to the room, we were not told how to operate the heating and cooling system. We spent a long time trying to do it, then called the front desk. Someone came up and told us that she had just reset the system. The fan never went on. We did have heat. We were not able to use the TV without assistance. The same woman who came about the heat fiddled with some wires behind the TV and then it worked briefly. We did not bother to call again. The best thing about staying there was the proximity to so many important and beautiful places. We had a very nice view. The bad part was there were two parts of the building that were not connected. You had to walk outside in the rain in order to go into the other part. I was surprised to discover that there was a full flight of stairs to walk up before getting into an elevator. The staff person who brought us in carried my suitcase up, but it was inconvenient and I was hurting. If I had known about that problem, I would have chosen a different hotel. Overall, it’s a nice hotel well situated, but the stairs are a big problem.

The room was not soundproof. Shower had two doors, which I found awkward . The room was very small. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

I spent 6 nights at the Rossio Plaza Hotel. The central location was very convenient, for meeting guides for day trips, city transportation etc. It is a perfect base for exploring the different areas of Lisbon. The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel itself was spotless. I would definitely recommend staying there.
