The hotel and room are great — very clean and functional. The staff are always smiling and attentive to your needs.
The location is OK, nothing more.
We paid extra for a room with tall glass doors instead of a window, which was a major disappointment. The photos on the booking app don't show that these tall glass doors open onto a busy street. There are four or five lanes of traffic, including trucks and buses, driving constantly. It's really noisy and dusty - You can't enjoy this feature of the room at all.
The train station passes through the building, which woke us up a few times during our stay.
We ate at the hotel restaurant once.
I had a hamburger which wasn’t good and didn’t taste like a burger; it tasted like bad frozen meat. I didn’t make a fuss about it, though, because the staff were so kind. The dining room itself is very nice though, and it's great to have a drink and hang out there if you don't want to leave the hotel. There were always lots of people enjoying a drink and chatting to the staff, which created more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant one.
This was our second time in Lisbon. Overall, our experience at this hotel was OK to good, but Lisbon offers much better stays for the same or less money.
I will not book there again.
