The check in process was fast and efficient, and we were shown to our room. The bar area, inner square and dining areas are beautiful and the original building structure has been used very well Breakfast needs to be reorganized, with plenty of space in the breakfast area they seated people too close to each other. Tables are way too close together. Some of the breakfast items are from the buffet and some you order from the waiter, the menu is not clear on which is which. You have to order coffee from the waiter and the milk and the spoon, if you don’t ask for each one you have to wait until he goes past again(maybe that was a once off). To put of flask of good coffee on the table with a small jug of milk would give people a lot more relaxed breakfast, reduce traffic up and down and increase the waiter’s effectiveness. Bar staff very friendly but get distracted by their phones and colleagues and forget they have guests waiting to be served. The room (405) was ok, very clean but generally did not match the level of the more public areas of the hotel, it was a fairly standard room and would equal those of hotels a lot less expensive. Overall the hotel is very clean and the public area are really relaxing and beautiful.

Good location in Lisbon, very friendly and accommodating staff. My only issue was that we tried multiple times to use the sauna and each time there was someone in there completely naked. Being that this is a family hotel, some sort of signage that you need to be wearing a bathing suit in the sauna would be appreciated. While we didn't get to use all of the amenities for the reason above, the overall stay itself was great.

The hotel and staff could generally not be faulted. My only concern was the slippery floor in the spa, which resuted in a minor fall whilst walking from pool to sauna. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would sefinitely recommend this hotel

One of my top priorities when choosing a hotel is noise, as I'm a very light sleeper. I usually spend days reading reviews to find the quietest option—and this hotel didn’t disappoint. It's centrally located, within walking distance of all the city's best spots, yet tucked away on a pedestrian street. What makes it especially great for light sleepers is the "Cloister View" rooms, which face an interior courtyard and are well shielded from street noise. While the walls between rooms are a bit thin (you might hear a neighbor’s TV), overall the hotel is very quiet, well-appointed, and comfortable. The breakfast was also quite good. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those sensitive to noise.
