First off I booked through Expedia and I needed a king bed with a shower only on the first floor. I did not get that so I had to be on the second floor in a king room with a tub and a shower when we got there. The toilet seat would not stay by itself and the cabinet above the toilet was too low, so my partner could not get close to the toilet to do his business. So April the front desk was very very nice and tried to accommodate me and upgraded me to a room that had a sofa in it, but still had a tub. The tub turned out to be low enough so that my partner could get in without too much trouble to take a shower if he wanted to. I asked for extra pillows and did not receive any as they were out so that was kind of a bummer and being on the second floor was really difficult for me because my my partner gets along only with a cane so, and is slow-going for him. slow I was very, very, very, very disappointed. You did not have a channel guide nor an area of restaurants and events or a guide of sort to tell us what is available in this area. That really needs to be rectified. Those channel guides are pretty essential for those who cannot visually see the screen and have to stand in front of the TV until I I was very, very, very disappointed. Front desk staff very nice. First room we were given had a hole in the ceiling along with a huge water spot, room smelt very mildewed. Front desk put us in a different room no problem, room was clean basic amenities. Bed was not so comfy and the pillows were super small and uncomfortable & when I say small I mean like as small or smaller than basic couch pillows. Breakfast was decent and had several options.

My brother was in the hospital at UAMS. My parents and I were staying at this hotel because it was reasonably priced and not too far from UAMS. He was discharged earlier than expected and lives about 80 miles from this location, so we needed to check out early. When Expedia reached out to the management, they refused to refund us for the remaining 3 days. I am aware of policies, but there are times when policies can be flexible and grace given. The three of us traveled from the west coast to care for my brother who needed 24 hour car when he got home. Traveling 80 miles each way to help him would have been ridiculous. We checked out giving the business the opportunity to resell the room for the remaining 3 nights. I believe we should have been given a refund.
