It’s convenient to the freeway which was a plus for me. Staff that checked me in was horrible! I parked on the makeshift side walk in front of the hotel in order to check in. You can only park in the metered parked which you have to run down before 8 AM to move or the parking garage. I asked if it was connected to the hotel which IS NOT connected to the hotel. But make sure the lazy staff give you a placard prior to parking there or risk being towed! Additionally, another issue we had was at breakfast everything was labeled however the label did NOT match the items put out. For instance, it said bacon but sausage was in the pan. The floors of the hotel need cleaning as you can see visible dirt spots. The tub has a permanent stain and needs to be resurfaced. The ironing board pads need to be changed as they had stains on those as well. The bedding look as though they just made them up from the previous person staying there.

Best bang for your buck!

Great location. The cheapest in the area and best bang for your buck. While this hotel is certainly showing its age, other “fancier” hotels in the area are in similar condition and charge $40+ more per night with no meals included. The free breakfast is always a nice bonus and the main reason we chose this hotel over others in the area. It’s very safe as you cannot enter any door nor use the elevator without a key card. The staff was all very kind. The breakfast offers more items than I’ve seen other places offer in quite awhile. The hotel over-all was quiet, clean, and comfortable. All the furniture squeaked and that was a bit annoying, but not a deal breaker. Parking is $15 per day in the garage behind the hotel or there’s a cheaper parking garage ($12 per day) a very short 2-block walk.

Pros: Great staff and location is close to everything. Was able to walk to the Simmons arena for a concert. The room was large for a hotel. Cons: the bathroom was outdated. The outlets next to the bed didn’t work well at all.
