Very disappointed in this visit. Our first room had a malfunctioning TV and the a/c was a free standing unit that's hose was duct taped to the window to ventilate. The second room we were given had a thermostat that didn't work properly. It was set at 65 degrees and the temperature in the room was 76 degrees and climbing. The third room, at least, had a functioning TV but another a/c unit that was vented out the window. The desk clerk didn't seem to be very infomed. I did the online check-in but had to do it again when we got there. She said she didn't see it - although it didn't appear that she actually looked. My husband asked about the "free bottled water " and she said she didn't know anything about that. The breakfast was mostly very cold including the eggs. However, the bacon was warm. It was extremely underwhelming. This is the first time I've written a negative review for a hotel. And we've stayed in many over the years and never as disappointing as this.

We had the best room they offered, 6th floor, kind bed... No refrigerator in the room, coffee maker with no coffee or condiments. Only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. Only 4 pillows on a kind size bed! Coffee downstairs tasted like jail coffee, awful. They sheets, blankets, towels all smelled like county jail, so if you want to know what an inmate smells, come here lol.. I'm not joking.

Room (walls, curtains) had large dried splatter. Carpet needed deep cleaning- portable A/C in room as apparently the wall unit not operational. Would suggest they upgrade the door locks. Very few outlets available. Staff pleasant. Just needs some updating.

Overall the state of the hotel was ok. They’re under construction, so I can get past the debris in the hallways. But the overnight construction noise made sleep difficult. They were doing something with the water so there wasn’t any hot water at the hotel for 24 hours. There was hair in the bathtub (not that I could use it without hot water anyway). The room was freezing cold. There was a portable heat unit in the room. I turned it on and the temp up to 84 degrees (max setting). It continuously blew out ice cold air. I let it run for over an hour hoping it would heat up with time. I finally had to turn it off. Thankfully I was just there for a quick overnight and left before the sun the next morning.
