The lady at the reception very nice and kind. Overall stay was amazing. Only some minor issues I think should be looked into. Toilet was broken when we checked in but they were able to fix it soon. The shower and towel radiator were a bit funny shower kept on going cold and the towel radiator didn’t work entire stay. Otherwise it was nice.

Not for us.

A very shabby hotel without many amenities. The paintwork is poor, and there is scaffolding in many places. Additionally, the lift wasn't working, which is not ideal for many of the guests. The dining room was roasting in the morning, and though there was a fan in one corner, it didn't make much difference. I don't know why they couldn't open more windows. The staff were nice, but the hotel needs an injection of money, new furniture and updated bathrooms. There was an area near our room where a large amount of furniture was piled up. Thankfully, the view is good.

Good location, dated rooms

The hotel was good all round and we had no issues during our stay. The rooms are very dated and the room (109) we had was a bit odd. It have a large bedroom on entry but didn't have any TV in that room. It should have had a sea view but I would class it as partial sea view, a little disappointed on that. The window literally only opened six inches. And on a hot day it was stifling in there. You then had a drop down two steps to a lounge, this room was even hotter. The sofa was very uncomfortable. No windows could be opened at all in the lounge room so it was not very good. And the sofa was positioned looking away from the sea, again not ideal. The bathroom was large with a bath, sink, loo and shower. The shower was tiny though. In fact I've been on canal boats with bigger showers. All in all a nice stay however the hotel is very dated. I think I'll try a different hotel if we go again.

Superior Rooms, old and dated. Expensive for dogs.

We booked a Superior Room with a Sea View, for a Special Occasion. Unfortunately we were given an old dated room, number 117. We have stopped in better Superior rooms in this hotel several times before. And to make matters worse, only one window opened 6” when it was a red hot weekend. We take a dog companion with us, and we have recently discovered that the price per dog, has gone up from £10 per night, to £25 per night. This now make’s the Marine Hotel not only the most expensive place to stay with a dog in North Wales, but also one of the most expensive in the country.

Great location on the promenade

We have stayed in this hotel several times now, and enjoy it everytime. The location is great with alot rooms looking out to the prom/sea. The bar is relaxed and great value for drinks. The hotel is within walking distance to the pier, the great orme and the town centre and a retail park.

Pleasant mid week break.

A pleasent stay with attentive staff who were welcoming and helpful. Pool though small was just right temperature. Room cleaned efficiently on daily basis . Standard basic room but had all we needed and sea view. Only downside was occassionly noisy water system.

The customer service at the check-in desk was absolutely terrible. The hotel staff was unfriendly and forced me to share my card details out loud at the desk. I will definitely sue this hotel if anything happens to my money.

I love the old feel of the hotel. There's a ballroom and a stage which adds to the character. Because it's old that means there are low ceilings and quirky room set ups. However the location to the promenade is really good. I think it's excellent value for the location

There was stains on the bed sheets, I could tell they hadn’t been changed the next day because the stains were still there. The floor mat for the shower was mouldy however the staff were very nice and the breakfast was very good.
