Highly Recommended
Hotel was very clean throughout and my room was spotless. The breakfast was excellent and included in the price. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room carpet and furniture were dated and could do with upgrading, however maybe upgrades are on there way as a brand new lift had just been installed. At this time of year overnight parking outside the hotel was easy and free. Overall would highly recommend.

The property was clean and beds very comfortable. Unfortunately decor was extremely dated and furniture had chips out of the wood and handles missing. Walls were scuffed and cracked. I have slight mobility issues and was disappointed to find that my room was upstairs, the dining room down in the basement and no working lift. Breakfast was below an acceptable standard. Very limited selection and the cheapest of cheap bread. Cooked breakfast was only Luke warm and very greasy .

Good value hotel
We had a quick one night stay for walking. Only booked that morning for a good price. Checked in really quick which was appreciated after a long walk. Room was quite small but adequate but had a fairly new bathroom with shower cubicle. TV reception was a little crackly. Breakfast was buffet with fruit, fruit juice, cereals a good hot buffet selection, toast and machine coffee and tea. Not busy when we were there and all well stocked. Quick and easy breakfast. Check out again quick - we had paid in advance. All in all good hotel for a night's stay.

Great value.
Great value but hotel needs upgrade, and there are signs of work in progress - modern shower room, lift being refurbished. Breakfast basic but OK. We arrived late, but the receptionist could not have been more helpful - truly delightful and welcoming. Situation great, parking a nightmare! Great value for a one night stay.

Although the furnishings are a bit dated, we had a very comfortable room and ensuite. Staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want and was very good. Location is perfect. Very central. We will definitely be back

The staff were very helpful and friendly, carried our bags up and down the stairs, were knowledgeable about the road parking. Breakfast was good. Parts of the hotel are a bit dated but evidence of improvements being done. Advertising sites could be clearer about the lift not working.

Excellent hotel just a few metres away from the promenade. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Comfortable and clean. Superb breakfast. Highly recommended.

I loved this hotel! The location is excellent for going to the beach, walking around town or catching the bus or train for day trips. The breakfast was the best that I have ever had with British bacon that was delicious. There was a private bar for the guests that I didn’t use, but it looked like many did, with a nice patio out front. The staff was superb!

Bedroom and En suite very small, although en suite looked brand new. Hotel is having a lift fitted but we found number of stairs to our room on 2nd floor very tiring. Hotel does have a bar but nobody was using it so there was no atmosphere. Hotel is situated close to amenities. Breakfast was very very good with so much choice.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Right near to the beach and pierand also close to the centre for shopping and bars, cafes and bars. Hotel is clean and room was a good size with comfy beds. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Especially the young girl on reception (didnt get her name) She was lovely and super helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. Lots of choice. Well worth the money we paid to stay.
