Property was closed due to boiler issues. Had this booked for three weeks and no one let us know until we got to the property yesterday. The property had been closed since October 2024!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, and inconvenient to everyone that booked and turned up to stay!!

The owner/manager called the morning of our booking and told me the boiler had broken and they were going to have to cancel our stay. I am still awaiting my refund 10 days later and they are not answering calls to property or mobile numbers provided!! Terrible customer service!

I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

It’s a lovely little hotel. Nice restaurant, excellent staff and great value. Local scenery is stunning. Rooms large and very well appointed. Access to the village was by a steep and narrow road which might limit some vehicles.

Radiator was not working and no temperature control device, access to area was through very narrow roads which are not appropriate to drive at night, too many stairs to get to the rooms

Lovely stay!
Apart from dust on the headrest and pedestool fan, the room was very clean. The bed was really comfy and there was an extra screen over the window so it was lovely and quiet. There were tea/coffee making facilities with herbal teas and little packets of biscuits too. The decor was warm and neutral throughout the hotel, which made it feel cosy and inviting. All the staff were friendly, polite and professional and were especially accommodating of both my IBS diet restrictions and my request to store my dog's sensitive tummy food in their fridge. I wanted somewhere quiet to relax and re set, while my children were away and Glyn Valley hotel was perfect!
