Excellent overall stay but no soap in reception ladies toilet. Also no soap in room bathroom although there were 2 hand lotion bottles, (possible misunderstanding).

Hotel was in a beautiful building. Staff were professional, attentive and organised. We ate in the hotel and had a lovely set dinner choice with a perfect wine recommended. Breakfast was not great, especially for €19 per person, but that was ok in the overall stay. We’d happily stay there again and would recommend.

The hotel is lovely. In a perfect setting. Very let down by its breakfast. Nothing was available. We waited for 20 minutes before giving up. The restaurant in the evening is nice but they could do with some other dinning options as very upper tier food perhaps offer a bar menu

A beautiful property in a great location in the center of Loches, a medieval town. The rooms were adequate but could have had a few more amenities for a 4 star hotel. The hotel seems that it needs to be better managed: welcome at the reception was not great, there were no more towels at the spa and in the room, the shower stall could have been cleaner in the corners.So all in all it could be an amazing hotel but it lacks some key components still.

A gem in Loches
Fantastic location in there heart of the beautiful small town of Loches, with views towards the Royal Citadel. Our room had a huge balcony with the same fantastic view as from the main terrace, perfect for a late in-room breakfast. Modern decor inside a beautifully restored 19th Century building. We purchased our tickets for the visit at the hotel and walked to the site. We had diner outside on the terrace, very good cuisine, service is a but junior and not all are English speakers. I am always hesitant when I see "Best Western" in front of a hotel in France, but now I understand the "Premier" brand. 100% recommend.

Good hotel in lovely town.
2 night stay. Loches is a wonderful town. Hotel is very clean and front desk service excellent. Room was very clean and well equipped. Did not have breakfast but did have evening meals in the restaurant. Food very good if a bit pricey. Only 4 stars as service on last night in bar and restaurant was very slow and staff were seemingly disorganised. Rooms pricey as not including breakfast but a good base to stay.

I booked this hotel largely on the reviews on here. It looks great when you arrive- a lovely new car park (although when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday evening it was full - we were just lucky to find a space as someone left). Big problem at checkin in that we had booked a superior room with balcony but there was apparently a problem with communication between hotels.com and the hotel and we were allocated the most basic of rooms. The hotel was almost fully booked and our choice of room could not be honoured - we were ‘upgraded’ to a family room but this was a ground floor room and we had no use for the children’s room. I asked for compensation and was told that was not possible because we had been ‘upgraded’. The room was nice enough but the linens felt mostly polyester and the air conditioning was inadequate - we had a fairly uncomfortable night. On the plus side the room was actually very quiet and on its own on the opposite of the stairwell to the other rooms. Best thing is location as the town is pretty but we would not return for the reasons mentioned.

This is my new favourite hotel in France, great reception team who sorted a problem out for me, nice restaurant with great staff, comfy beds, it was so nice I made a stop on the way home, Loches is a lovely town as it’s so alive, can’t wait to visit again, thank you .

Very nice Hotel, it's been open for two years old. The room are very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. Loches is a beautiful and quiet town.

A wonderful place to stay
Outstanding- we liked it so much we might change our plans to stay again. Loches is an ancient and evocative city, lots of places to walk and explore and eat. Hotel in a great location. Breakfast was superb. We thought it was wonderful value for money. Lots of superlatives!

We liked the spacious accommodations - two floors (rather unique) plus another small bedroom within the same suite. We also appreciated impressive architectural details with huge ceiling beams. Parking is conveniently located in front of the hotel and plentiful. Location is excellent and old town and restaurants are just an easy walk away. Hotel and room are in excellent condition and bathroom is luxurious. The only suggestions would be to add a compact refrigerator in the bedroom and also to have some small bar soaps ( we found the liquid soap bottle not functioning properly and not everyone likes the liquid soap option).
