Lohjan Island Vacation Packages

Quick and easy check in for a very late (1am) arrival. Simple but comfortable and well equipped apartment. Sadly I wasn't there long enough to try out all the amenities but I saw longer term guests and residents using the work and leisure spaces.

I chose this hotel due to its location and business needs. I have to say that it was functional with excellent, helpful staff and will certainly return on my next trip.

Great location, clean, good facilities

Messages & communication ahead of arrival were excellent, the team were highly responsive to questions we asked in advance of arrival. Check-in process was smooth, as was accessing the room. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a reasonably well appointed kitchenette, with fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, kettle and microwave. There were only 2 coffee pods provided within the room cost and not replaced, but coffee is available from the reception area for 1.50 euro - take your own cups down if you want to use them. Bathroom has a walk-in shower, with the most pointless of shower screens - more water was expelled out onto the bathroom floor than was stopped by the screen - no mat's provided to stop slips. The bed is tiny! I have just looked back at the booking and it says it is a double bed - my partner and I couldn't both lie on our backs on the bed, it was that small- is that standard double bed in Finland? The mattress is almost non-existent, it must only be around 40-50mm thick - I woke with bad back pain each morning. No couch or seating provided other than the small dining table and the worlds most uncomfortable chairs. There are no TV's provided within the rooms. There were also no instructions on how to work the heating (which was largely unresponsive when pushing the buttons) - so we had a sweatbox for the last 2 nights of our stay. With all of this being said, due to it's location / proximity to where I needed to be for the weekend, I would stay again.

The room was clean, lots of kitchen to use. Enjoyed the open tv room and kitchen; felt less lonely. Big shower, bed was comfortable. Very quiet, which I enjoyed. Elevator available, luggage storage was good. The only complaint, in the hotel description it states ‘hot breakfast provided’, but in the small print it says for a fee of 20e. Yikes. There is a market just around the corner. They have salads, oatmeal, yogurt, cheese, etc.

Near to everything, walkable all within a mile radius, city center, market square and most points of interests

Quirky, characterful hotel walking distance from Helsinki centre. Was such a cool experience staying in a prison but with 5 star facilities. We had a great stay, great location, lovely food (im vegetarian and plenty for me) and super comfy beds. Highly recommend

What a value! Fantastic staff and super clean and quiet rooms. Great bar and decent restaurant. Right on the regional train line 3 minutes to the airport and 45 or so to downtown Helsinki. Absolutely the best value for money I can think of.
