Hospitality room very crowded, no place to sit. Took cereal & milk to room, NO COFFEE available. Good TV, nice desk/chair with good lighting. Karen who checked me in was managing the 4 PM rush with patience, efficiency & apologies.

Somewhat noisy with the Lompoc City Airport right next door & my room faced the airport. Noisy from the highway nearby. Room was clean & provided a microwave / refrigerator for convenience.

1) When we arrived about 8:40 at night. There was only one employee at front desk. She obviously not an experienced one. The people in front of me came from Mexico. She spent over an hour to help them check in. My overall to check in time was around one and half an hour; 2) The room keys doesn’t work. We went back to front desk to change the keys TWICE. 3) The toilet was plugged before we used it. 4) It looks pretty old the room. It needs upgrades. The location is great and convenient. Renovations is necessary.

All aspects of the check-in process were satisfactory. The rooms were of an acceptable standard. The breakfast provided at this establishment is consistently excellent. However, it should be noted that due to the holiday weekend, the breakfast area was exceptionally busy. In this context, it is understandable that the Asian female staff member in the breakfast area may have been under considerable pressure. Nevertheless, her behavior towards me was unacceptably rude. This is the first time I have encountered such an issue in the five years that I have been a regular guest at this hotel, visiting at least once a year.
