Very convenient hotel near St Pancras. Booked a room on the top floor with shower and toilet down the hall. Reminded us of our college dorm. They had a really nice guy help us with our luggage.
All in all given the decent hotel price, convenient location near St Pancras - not having to use taxi’s - clean property, great staff, we would do it again for a short stay.
I forgot to check if they have a lift, good thing the lady in reception who received us (24th March) assigned us on ground floor (Room 4). She offered us the room right away as we were with an 18-month-old and we arrived earlier than check-in. It can't be helped but whenever the front door opens during the night, it vibrates through our room. Anyway, the room served its purpose and the receptionists are all very helpful.
I booked a room for two travelers for two nights.
The first issue we had was the size of the room. It was so small that if one of us wanted to get by one another there was only one part of the room that it was big enough.
They put us in a basement room with a window that led to a public courtyard type space so we had to keep the blinds down 24/7 for privacy.
Every 20-30 mins when the tube would run the whole room would shake from 7am till about midnight. You can also hear everyone else moving around in the hotel.
No climate control and the room got very hot at night.
No additional lock on the inside of the door.
Alhambra is a cozy and clean property across the street from King's Cross / St. Pancras International rail and Underground stations. I especially appreciated the 1pm check-in as I arrived on a morning flight and did not want to drag my suitcase all over London until midafternoon. Highly recommend to anyone needing a place in London as well as convenient access by rail to points in the northeast.
Good promixity to many areas and really central location. Hotel was decent and staff were responsive and helpfull. Could improve with cleaning the room during stay

Liked: Staff & service
Great location, seconds from Kings Cross station. Room was small and basic, but clean, totally get what you pay for, and good value for money. Would book again, but maybe not the single room if staying for more than one night 😉
This hotel is convenient to the train station, which was nice. The people that work there are very nice. The room is super small, no air conditioning and the area (outside) can be loud at night with people talking loud, arguing, and cars speeding in the area.
Hotel is very nice, affordable, easy access to train and buses. Just make sure you are very close to your partner if sharing room as is very small, also the restroom and shower is shared. Other than that recommended for a short one to three nights top. Friendly staff made the difference.

Excellent location
Stopping solo for 3 nights to watch west end shows, perfect location for the tube making easy access.
Room very clean and on suite, small but was a single so no problem, had all you needed.
Only negative was has I was on the third floor the water pressure was rather low making showering difficult.
This was exactly what I needed. I needed a hotel super close to the London St. Pancras train station for one night, so I could easily make it to the airport the next morning. This was about a 5 minute walk from the train station, which was great since it was dark and rainy. My room was actually across the street from the reception desk, and on the 3rd floor. They let me leave my big suitcase at the reception, so I could easily navigate the stairs. Small room, dark and quiet... just what I needed. I'd stay here again.
