Greeted by a wonderful young lady who made us feel very special and gave a real personal touch to the hospitality. The room was lovely and we were provided with everything we needed to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Very peaceful at night, but with such good access to Central London. Wonderful.

The AC never worked the entire time I was there. I woke up in a sweat both nights. The staff was super nice, but an ongoing lack of attention to detail (due to understaffing, it appeared) was frustrating: wrong toiletries stocked in bathroom, buffet constantly out of stuff, etc.

Our air conditioner didn’t work. This is probably not often a problem in London. But we were on the top floor and it was a warm, sunny weekend. So we were uncomfortable. They weren’t able to fix it while we were there and the hotel was full, so they couldn’t move us. We weren’t there much during the day. At night we opened the window to let in the cool, night air. They said they would take good care of us next time we came.
