Basic room of a decent size. Convenient to Kings Cross station. Lift wasn't working. Friendly staff but they encouraged me to leave my room key with them when I went out which I found a bit odd.

A basic hotel, close to King's Cross station. Ideal for a 1night stay between plane and train journeys. Room was quiet and clean and able to leave luggage on check out until our train trip.

Room request not fulfilled

When booking I requested a ground floor or a room with access via lift as my Dad has limited mobility and rooms close together if possible. After we had checked in we were advised the lift was broken (whch I apprectite is an unforeseen event) and the only available rooms had stairs to get to the room as people had requested to swap. Although a member of staff did assist with my dads case up/down the stairs, I was given a 3rd floor room and had to take clothes out of my case to take to my room as I would not have been able to take the case up all those flights of stairs. We were also 4 floors apart so I would not have been able to assist him if there was an emergency. If they were unable to fulfil the request it would have been good to know in advance so I could have made alternative arrangements. Although there was a kettle, t.v and a hairdryer in the rooms they are extremely basic. The carpet throughout the hotel has seen better days and is loose in some parts. There are many other budget hotels in the area which are far better, I would not advise booking.

Chose Hotel on location. Good value, no complaints Happy with stay The only thing I would say is the pics on the website are dated as the property is a bit tired and the lovely outside planting is no longer there

Good budget hotel

Budget hotel but very clean in a good location. Room was basic but if you only need a bed for a few nights it’s perfectly fine. Lovely staff - all very helpful. At half the price of the nearest Travelodge and premier inn definitely value for money

Tv too big for room couldn't even walk past without bashing it. Window was big enough to fit a whole person through so felt unsafe. Walls and floorboards are thin. It was okay for one night just not any longer.

Toilet wouldn’t flush, reported to receptionist who said he’d get someone to fix it, but never did. Lift was not working AGAIN! We were on the 3rd floor , I have bad knees, getting ourselves and suitcases down the stairs was a nightmare!

Fine for a short stay

Good location to get out around London. Chosen for convenience and came with lower expectations based on reviews. Our room was bigger than expected. No issues with noise. Could do with replacing the carpets as these are pretty grubby but otherwise absolutely fine for a short stay.
