As an inexpensive hotel in close geographic proximity to the airport, this Best Western's fine. The problem is that getting from the airport to the hotel's incredibly complicated and difficult, and the hotel did nothing to give me information before the trip. It turns out that there's no simple shuttle running every few minutes, there's a paid bus with a limited schedule. If I'd known beforehand, I could've planned accordingly or even just pulled pounds out of an ATM and gotten a taxi, but I never received any information or instructions before my trip. Airport staff tried to help but had limited/contradictory information. I took the subway from Heathrow to the West Side in my '22 trip in less time than it took me to get 2-3 miles from airport to this hotel after arriving a little before 21:00 on 11/1/'24. Also, breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 (at least on Sunday I departed), which seems weird for an airport hotel.

Overall, this hotel was a great option and I’m very glad I stayed here. It was in a convenient location, quiet, and had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I will be staying here again in the future. I just wish there was a gym on site.

This hotel is really nice for the price and location. Airport Shuttle for £8. You pay the driver in the morning with card or cash. The driver took me despite my reservation not going through. The lobby was nice and no issues with the room. The heated towel rack was a nice surprise. However, I was scammed on the breakfast. When I checked in I was given the option to purchase breakfast, which was odd because usually it’s complimentary but regardless I opted to purchase it. I was told it was a sit down service with a full menu and the cost was £12.50, which was over $20 by the time my bank added the international transaction fee. The next morning I come down for breakfast and it’s not sit down, it’s a buffet style with very little options. They have two types of eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, ham and some other odds and ends. There was also juice and coffee but again, NOT a sit down with a full menu as I was told. I asked for a refund and was refused. This place should be embarrassed for scamming guest into purchasing a breakfast that should be complimentary.

Pretty dirty and smelly. The service was good but the room was not clean, lots of stains, hair in the bathroom, and smell in the room. The toilet had a hard time flushing as well and the shower wasn’t great.
