Not to my liking
Dear Best Western Highbury, I recently stayed at your property from December 4, 2024 to December 7, 2024 in room 312. While I was initially looking forward to a pleasant stay, I am disappointed by several issues that negatively impacted my experience: Non-functional TV: The television in my room did not work, even after a staff member spent over 10 minutes attempting to fix it. This left me without one of the amenities I expected during my stay. Uncomfortable Room Temperature: The room was exceptionally warm, making it difficult to rest or relax comfortably. When I inquired at the reception about lowering the heat, I was informed there was no way to adjust it. Given these inconveniences, I feel the conditions did not align with the level of service promised by your establishment. I kindly request a refund or a partial reimbursement for my stay. I was charged on arrival for parking - which was not clear on my booking , however air con was disabled - and not available and not as advertised - therefore I would like a refund as the property was advertised in a misleading manner

Clean but noisy
Staff helpful. Room like a sauna even when radiator turned off. There was aircon unit would not switch on. Bath towels really small. Walls really thin you can hear everything. Area not great especially after dark did not feel safe walking to shops after dark as groups of men just hanging around shops and lots of homeless people asking for money constantly.

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary as we wanted to be out and about in London. I was greeted by friendly, warm staff, excellent customer service. The rooms were small but clean & comfortable, TV worked fine, the heater was hoooot and lovely on a cold night. We were greeted leaving & coming in, it felt safe. We parked overnight for £10 It was a good experience, we would use them again

The hotel is not near Highbury and Islington. It’s located between Manor House and Finsbury Park. The surrounding area feels rough and insecure, and walking in at night feels scary. The hotel itself feels very old and outdated. The staff was professional and welcoming. Unfortunately, my room was so tiny, and the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Every time I turned around in my bed, It made an annoying squeaky noise. This is probably the worst Western hotel I have stayed in in all the places I have been around the world.
