Money Grabbers

Booked wrong Woodstock... accidentally booked Woodstock, ON instead of Woodstock, NB. Called immediately once we noticed. Hotels.ca called ON hotel property who wouldn't reimburse money.

Modern, Clean and Comfortable Hotel

he heck-in started on a sour note, when we arrived at 3:00 after a long trip, there was nobody at the desk. We hunted around, and found somebody in the laundry room. We were reminded that Check-in is not until 4:00 pm, and it stated that on our booking. REALLY. Out of 100's of bookings, I have never been told I could not check-in at 3:00. A staff member eventually showed up, and was very pleasant and proceeded to check us in. Although not requested, we asked for a ground floor and we were happily accommodated. The room was great (King with Sofa Bed). Very spacious, clean and modern. Aside from a freezer it had everything else. We also found out that this Hotel cleans the room daily without requesting. Many Hotels have stopped doing that. The complimentary Breakfast was very good (except the last morning of our 4 night stay, the scrambled eggs were crumbly and dry). This is a very nice and Modern Hotel with great rooms, and the staff are very friendly. We had to figure out the TV functions since for the first 2 nights, the TV Alarm turned the TV on in the middle of the night. Great Hotel, strongly recommend and we would come back again the next time we are in the area.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times in recent years. On this visit we are noticing the wear and tear on the facilities. The hall carpets and elevator are dirty for example. I was surprised that the incidental fee was $200 for this property which was what I basically paid for the room itself. There is another populate hotel chain in the city we have also used many times and I think we still stick theree in the future.

The room was clean and the hotel is in a quiet location. The indoor pool is nice. The water was warm and the pool is a good size. The breakfast buffet was convenient, though it would have been nice to have more food options.

Family Vacay

Our suite accommodated 6 adults comfortably. The room was clean and the kitchenette was in excellent condition. Morning breakfast was very good. My go to hotel when staying in Woodstock.
