Fabulous location

Great location for underground, shopping. Great eateries etc. Easy check in and we were able to get into our room early which was handy. Room had everything needed.

Loved this quaint hotel over the pub. Breakfast was superb! Best cuppa I had on my trip. The room and bathroom was beautiful and comfortable. The only downside is that the 4 floors are all walk-up; so although we were on the second floor - it was three flights up with heavy suitcases. I wish there had been staff available to help carry the cases up.

Older pub with well appointed rooms including large bathroom/ double sinks. No A/c so needed to open windows which made it noisy as closely located to police station/ ambulance services. Limited storage for guest luggage. Reception service patchy and below expectations for price. No lift in the building which made it difficult with large bags/ lots of stairs. 8/10 minute flat walk to Hammersmith station so convenient for Heathrow and access to London.

Great location near the Hammersmith Station. The bar and restaurant were great also. The french toast and hot chocolate at breakfast were amazing! There is a police and fire station near, so there are sirens. I would suggest a sound machine or app to drown out the sirens.

Beautiful place in a very posh, walkable neighborhood. Right near a supermarket too! Rooms are small but comfortable. Note: no lifts, only minimal room in refrigerator (rest is filled with items for purchase).

Disappointing / Attention to Details Required

Tried to ring ahead several times to share that I would be checking in the evening and would like to arrange to have a late check out but had no answer. Upon arrival I had the most awkward and off-putting chekin experience ever. Receptionist was all about telling me how it is going to be in a sarcastic tone. I tried to clarify my questions by rephrasing them but only stood corrected and shut down. For example when I asked about my room as I was told that it was a "..typically small English room and traffic noice could be an issue and is its part of the package but the windows are double glazed." I have no clue where that came from but felt a clash and and I actually expressed thats he was making me feel very uncomfortable. I proceeded to my room (17) five flights up to the top, no lift and no offer to help with my bag. My impressions of the room were that it felt dark, dated dusty with the smell of stale fried bar food. I attempted to switch on the TV from one of the two remotes and neither were responsive. No phone in the room so I rambled back down for assistance. Your man checked it out and managed to queue up the Sky and left. Relieved I then tried the volume and changer but it was again unresponsive. Round two with the TV he made calls for help, not resolved, so asked for another room. Standing before him for what was the fifth time, sweat rolling down my face, offered a twin bedroom I decided I had enough and left for other accommodation.
