The room was stifling hot the entire stay because our room AC couldn’t keep up. The lift was broken for the last 5 days of our stay resulting in us having to carry suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. The front desk staff were pleasant but couldn’t assist with simple tasks like replacing dead batteries in the tv remote. Lastly the shower temperature control could not be adjusted for colder water resulting in hot showers for all during a small heat wave. We brought it up to the staff twice but they were unable to adjust the water temperature to anything below very warm. While we didn’t observe any mice, there were mousetraps under the beds.
Our room was advertised as a family room however the room was way too small for 5 people especially with a bathroom that is the size of an airplane bathroom.
The hotels location is convenient to Paddington Station and Hyde Park but I would not reccomend it at all. The value for money is low and the staff responsiveness to guest issues is quite poor as well.
