Shoreditch Stay
The staff was very accommodating. The kitchen stays open late. We would stay there again. It was convenient to the underground and buses.

Great modern hotel but felt like a wework space with so many people in the lobby on laptops working. Rooms are tiny and shower room barely fits the basics in. For two people it was pretty uncomfortable it was such a confined space. With two suitcases it would be challenging!

Great stay and great location, it’s a self service type of place but when there’s staff standing around they should be doing a bit more rather than forcing the customer to do self check in- that’s the only downside.

Staff were all very friendly and check in/out process was very smooth. The iPad control in the room is pretty user friendly. Bed was comfortable and quiet. WiFi speed was good and reliable. Unfortunately, my room wasn't the cleanest and the iPad screen was cracked. During my stay, 2/3 elevators were in service so it meant longer wait times especially during busy periods like checking out. This is temporary and hopefully won't be the same experience in the coming months, but something to plan for especially if you need to leave in a timely manner. I would return for another visit.

Chic boutique hotel, central to Shoreditch
Hotel was clean, fairly modern, and centrally located in Shoreditch. Only downside was the relative distance to the nearest tube station, but there was a line for busses right by the hotel, which ran service to both Old Street and St. Pancras. Staffing is minimal, basically housekeeping, a 24/7 restaurant/bar operator (appears to be serving the snazzy equivalent of ready meals?) and none of the usual facilities onsite (no gym/pool/sauna, etc) but the hotel does partner with a nearby gym to offer those to guests. Would strongly recommend they get the second elevator fixed though, as it was out of service for my entire stay and the lack of staff to question about its repair timing make me wonder how long it has been out. Overall, good spot for a trip to London, if you don't mind the smaller quarters and are either solo or can comfortably share a bed with travel partners. (The bed is quite comfy, and is larger than a standard King mattress, roughly a 2-meter square.) The blinds, lights, and TV (which can be connected to via Chromecast over the wifi; be sure to not use a VPN when trying to connect though, as it won't work then) are all controllable through the provided iPad mini (appears to be a 5th generation, locked down to their proprietary software. Wish they'd block out the camera to be less potentially invasive if compromised, though.)

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful m. The rooms as always clean and as you expect. However 2 of the three lifts were not working, one very long term. The lift was also shared with the cleaning team and sometimes huge trollies left in so only one person with. Case could get in. Sort the lifts out and 100% perfect.

Buzzing Shoreditch hipster vibes
Sightseeing shopping theatre and catch up with friends. Great location next to the city in bustling Shoreditch. Overground stop a few minutes walk and Liverpool Street station a mere ten minutes walk. Compact room but with an enormous 2m by 2m bed, rain shower, black out blinds etc etc. There’s a Pret virtually next door for breakfast and snacks on the fly.
