Second stay in a fortnight, but this room was better than previously (both “superior twin rooms”). The aircon was fully functional this time (you can’t open the windows), and the furniture seemed somewhat less tired. Staff have always been friendly and helpful on both stays and public areas are nicely presented. I understand that some of the rooms are due to be refurbed soon, but until then however I’m not sure that the price per night is fully justified. The key benefit of this hotel is its excellent location which is ideal for tourism, or in our case, the nearby Cromwell Hospital. The pillows were still too thin for all 3 of us though.

I stayed the first room. There is only hot water out from the sink. Then change to another room. The shower could could work and only can use the tub. Then, I asked the hotel to fix it. Great location, spacious room and great service. However, it's old and the facility does not work very well.

Perfect location. Just minutes away from all the amenities you could want including tube train. Felt safe and secure. Service great a very friendly. The room very comfortable and clean. Will definately stay there again on my next visit to London.

We were supposed to stay 12 days but hotel room was dirty run down old and ugly not like the pictures, worst hotel we have been to avoid it at all costs , we complained and they gave us a cleaner room that’s all! We left after 1 night and they refused to give us our money back.horrible customer service! Walls were dirty chair had blood on it , terrible

It was great. The air conditionning was a good thing. We heard a bit the trains behind the hotel but not so much. It was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and professional.

Slow Reception
The check in process was very slow, with a long queue in reception. The lobby seating area was closed for no apparent reason so people were sat next to the queue adding to confusion where the queue ended. After a lengthy wait, we had a free room upgrade which was nice, but then the room was shabby with a noisy refrigerator. Two room keys were issued with only one activated, which led to a lengthy wait trying to get the elevator. We tried to take the stairs but couldn’t find them due to poor signage. On the way down in the elevator it doesn’t indicate which floor you are on. Have stayed here before, but will never return now.
