Liked that ut was easy enough to find from paddington station.
Room we stayed in was a bit warm, and we couldnt seem to change the thermostat to turn it off.

Clean and functional and low cost. But very very very tired. Tiny double room. Maintainance man has a sense of humour - some interesting DIY going on here.
Small room, but with a comfortable bed. No road noise, although I could hear people in the room next door. A draught from the window made the head of the bed a bit chilly. Shower was nice but, as the bathroom is a wet room, the whole floor was very wet after using it. Nice pub around the corner.

Cheaper than Premier Inn but with good reason!
The lobby and main part of the hotel looks lovely and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and happy to help. The breakfast was very nice with a reasonable selection available. However our twin room was very basic and needed some major updates to the decor and maintenance to bring up to the standard you would expect from the exterior of the hotel and the impression given from the lobby and dining areas.
Our bathroom was tiny with a shower we could not fit under and a bath tub that was not full length but had extremely high sides, making it difficult to enter and exit! We also had no hot water from the shower all weekend. The bathroom along with the rest of the room looked liked it hadn't been updated in decades and there was dust in a lot of areas. It looked like it had only had a very quick clean between guests.
It is located on the edge of Hyde park right near Lancaster gate tube which is brilliant but the room itself let the place down.
I booked the corus as it worked out cheaper than a premier Inn and I thought I was getting a bargain as the pictures looked lovely. I guess in the end you do get what you pay for.
Tiny bathroom, tired fixtures and fittings. Difficulty finding room due to the absence or inadequate signage. Incredibly noisy ventilation. I disliked the abrasive attitude of staff who banged on door wanted me to leave the room at 0830 so they could investigate a silent alarm (steam from shower). I refused. This hotel will also charge £40 deposit even if you don't want to charge anything to your room. Don't bother checking-in in advance. You will have to do it again when you arrive. There's no quick checkout if you need to get your deposit back. Set your expectations for a budget 2 star experience and avoid disappointment. Better still, look for better value elsewhere.
Grubby basic room, uncomfortable bed.
Hotel public areas nice but room very dated

Our stay was great, the hotel room was lovely and clean.
Our only problem was our radiator didn’t work and the room was very hot. We got a fan from reception which helped.
It was simple and perfect for our overnight stay before continuing our trip.

The exterior was shabby. Our Executive Twin Room 408 down a narrow dimly lit corridor and was dimly lit inside with not much natural light. We had a tall narrow window in the corner that didn't open and the wood was rotten and crumbling with black mould on it. The privacy net curtain was dirty. The room was very warm and the air con didn't cool it down despite being set on 16C. The bathroom tap explodes water all over you when you turn it on as it only comes on at full force. The shower ran hot / cold / hot / cold. The staff at checkout and check in were very efficient and friendly.
Business trip 2 nights, room in need of modernisation. Hallway to the room carpets marked and tired deco.
Shower to hot or to cold so unable to use it properly.

Lovely welcoming staff, clean rooms with comfy beds and blackout shutters. Hotel generally needs some repairs (bathroom door didn’t shut, chipped bathtub etc) but would still highly recommend. Adjacent to Hyde park and very close to a tube station.
As we walked into the hotel it looks amazing. They clearly take more pride in what the hotel reception areas look like than the cleanliness of the hallways and rooms. The carpets had more stains than you’d like to think. And the rooms, black mould growing around the ceiling in the bathroom, also on the bathroom tiles. Carpets in the room were also dirty. An extreme amount of mould growing around the window. Don’t let the 4 star rating fool you. The pictures they use to sell the hotel rooms look brilliant, it’s only when you arrive you realise that it’s not as nice as the pictures suggest. I feel like I’ve been catfished.
This hotel is in a beautiful part of London, opposite Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Istrongly recommend this hotel.
