Spotless and a great location for the airport
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were professional, courteous and efficient. I’m fairly certain my room was brand new, it was so spotless. The food in the restaurant was amazing as well as being really good value for money.

Lisa was incredible, she always greeted me at breakfast and told me spots to checkout and god bless her heart she even printed out maps with directions for me in case I didn’t have a phone with gps (I did). I flew into London city and it was a 5 min walk with my luggage and I didnt have any issues at all.

Booked at the last minute over a bank holiday weekend. Amazing value for a lovely room, free wifi and gym facilities. The staff were very approachable, and we were greeted (with a smile!) on entry and exit each morning and evening. The property is within walking distance to the DLR and London City Airport. Convenient, clean and value for money - we couldn’t be happier. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Perfect pre-flight hotel
One-night stay before an early flight - we dropped our bags off and then it was a short, easy walk (it is signposted) to the hotel. We had a few drinks in the bar - some of the staff might have been new (?) as things were a bit slow, but the bar manager was clearly experienced and was doing his best with the team, and they were all friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Impressed with the refillable bottle and filtered water stations, I wish more hotels did that. We would definitely stay again if flying from City as it was so quick in the morning. Also can highly recommend Yi-Ban Chinese restaurant, a short walk away.

The hotel was great, however there is absolutely nothing to do nearby, but the service in the restaurant/bar is atrocious. Slow beyond belief, we had to keep chasing the staff to order, then get, a drink. It wasn't at all crowded, they just didn't seem to want to work. If you stay here, bring your own drink, or be prepared to die of thirst

I ordered fish and chips, the fish was terribly spoilt and smelt so awful. I complained and the kitchen came to retrieve the food. I was promised a refund, upon checkout on the 16th of July I spoke to the Senior Guest Relations Manager who gave me his card and once again promised to send an email and have the cost of the food refunded. As at writing this review today 8th August, no refund and no email update. This is terrible, serving guests spoilt food that could lead to health issues!

The hotel is great and staff are welcoming and friendly. Only critique is that we booked as we were travelling with plane spotters (and the hotel is right next to London City Airport). Paid extra for a room with a view over the runway only to be told on check in that there are no flights from midday Saturday to 1 pm Sunday (the entire duration of our stay). We just felt a bit duped. There was no mention anywhere of that on their website / room info page. Otherwise great hotel with brilliant connections into central London in the DLR. Useful to know that there’s no parking at the hotel - you park at the nearby Travelodge.
