A very good hotel in an ideal location.
This hotel was in an ideal location in St John's Wood for my stay. I booked an overnight stay Friday to Saturday as I had an appointment to attend on the Saturday morning which was close by. The hotel reception was very attractive, welcoming, and light and airy. The dining and bar areas were very good. All staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. The bedroom was fairly small, but it was very comfortable, it didn't really have much of a view but this wasn't a problem. The rooms were quiet at night. Facilities were good. The hotels cleanliness was excellent.

Good location
I’ve stayed at the Danubius many times. I was glad to see that rooms benefited from a recent renovation. It’s in a convenient location for the zoo, Madame Tussaud’s and only a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful village of Saint John’s Wood and Primrose Hill/Regents Parks Comfortable bed and pillow.

Standard rooms are incredibly dated, scuffs all over walls, no plug sockets near the bed. Power Cables hanging loosely down from the TV, for the price of the rooms these oversights are unacceptable. However the bed was incredibly comfy and the air conditioning was working well. The amenities included in the room and bathroom are also very good. Breakfast is not worth buying, products are of cheap origin and overly greasy, again, for the price point of the hotel this is poor. It would make more sense to have a breakfast menu to choose from, instead of a an expensive and poor quality buffet. It seems like booking this hotel via Expedia is frowned upon, as at check in and breakfast the hotel tried to bill me upfront saying Expedia hadn’t paid them. As I was staying with friends and family who had booked direct with the hotel, they were all placed in higher quality rooms and had no such issues.

Easy access to bus stop next to Regent's Park, with frequent buses straight to Oxford Street. Hotel was renovated and room was a great, clean and was spacious size for a family. Room was very warm at 26 degrees and the air conditioning did not work. Breakfast buffet was great with really good options of hot and cold.

The location of this property near two underground stations makes it a perfect launching pad for a trip to London. It’s also near a hip-on-hop-off route, which makes sight-seeing easy. Good pubs and restaurants nearby make it a great location. Front desk staff need to be more open to tourists (up their courteous game) and provide better explanations for asking for guests’ passports (to photo copy them). The concierge, on the other hand, are knowledgeable and helpful.
