From front desk to restaurant to doorman all were kind and helpful. Room was perfect and enough room with plenty of plugs and nice shower. Love that next to Black Sheep Coffee and the tube

The hotel's location was ideal. The premises were impeccably clean, and the staff demonstrated professionalism and a helpful attitude. The room offered effective soundproofing. We found the hotel and its amenities to be highly satisfactory. We strongly recommend this establishment.

Hotel is excellently located to public transport access points, overall appearance of the hotel is well maintained and cleanliness was welcomed compared to other hotels in London, most staff very helpful when required. However, incidents such as, waiting for approximately 12 minutes in a queue to register upon arrival at the hotel was inconvenient, an unbbħ civil/cold interaction from member of reception team in comparison to other reception staff towards other guests was disappointing and WiFi & TV remote did not work. Thankfully, WiFi and remote unit resolved promptly! Surprisingly, the attached independently owned rooftop bar users [non-hotel guests] all use the main hotel entrance to access the bar, resulting in the lobby being crowded and access to one of the 2 x working lifts being restricted to these non-hotel guests when they arrived in the lobby after queuing outside the hotel entrance. I saw myself having to wait for the other lift to become available when the bar access lift was empty & being held for bar users to use….very inconvenient as a disabled person! Why was it never considered that there should be a separate entrance/exit for bar users; who happen not be guests of this hotel to use!? Finally, hotel information/guidance i.e WiFi, room amenities (AC & TV), guest services, point of contact for anything, and local attractions/services would have been welcomed within the room!

Please don’t book here. I was so excited to stay here because the pictures looked so nice but the room (and we got upgraded to the Bolph corner suite) and the room needs a facelift urgently. There were scuff marks and dried boogers on the wall near the TV. No microwave in room and no amenities, no vending machines. Low water pressure in the shower. And worst was in the evening, the lines outside and inside for people dressed up super fancy to go to the rooftop bar. It was very hard for us to get an elevator at night to our room and it was loud and embarrassing for us to be tired from travelling and wearing sweats, standing next to people who are dressed like runway models in order to get a lift. The lifts took forever coming down from our floor to the lobby. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Probably the least enjoyable London stay I have had. From check-in the staff were not welcoming, a stark contrast from other well known hotel brands I have stayed in. Once we got into our room the lights weren’t working - after several calls to reception an electrician finally arrived who said the lights needed work so they’d needed at least half hour to sort - we had a reservation and needed lights to get ready so we had to ask to move rooms (no apology hotel). The new room was in a worse position and felt smaller. In the new room the remote also didn’t work for the TV. Another annoying thing about this hotel is queuing for the lifts - the hotel has a rooftop bar so they seem prioritise one lift for those going up to the bar (including non hotel stayers) and the other lifts you can be waiting in a queue for a good while - very frustrating. Overall just didnt enjoy this stay for the price you pay there were to many inconveniences with poor customer service. Positives were location and nice bathroom. Other than that I’d say there are more welcoming hotels with better customer loyalty

We liked this hotel a lot. It was clean and quiet. The staff were really friendly and always helpful. It’s located right next door to the Aldgate station on the circle line, so 1 ride to majors attractions like the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, etc. It was also within walking distance of Brick Lane, Leadenhall Maket, Spitalfields Market and the Tower of London! It’s in a financial district so lots of professional looking people and with them lots of restaurants and coffee shops. We loved the area and would stay at this hotel again for sure!
