The room was fine but it was advertised as a suite. It was really just a main room w/the bed, living area, small dining area w/coffee bar, 2 separate bathrooms (1 w/sink & toilet only, and the other a full bath w/a separate dressing area).
This would have been fine but it was advertised as a suite & my husband even asked if there were separate rooms so we could spread out. For the price it definitely should have been bigger.
Most of the extra room was in a dressing area in the main bathroom & felt like wasted space. Only one small pouf to sit on, nowhere to actually store your bags, no place to keep them off of the ground.
Our other complaint is that as Americans, we like to sleep in cold. Air would not go below 18C, even though maintenance came up & set a cooler temp. Fan speed went up, but air temp never went down. We asked for a fan so that we could have air blow on us while sleeping. They brought a small fan & the housing was broken, but my husband made it work. We gave up trying to get temps down & looked forward to leaving instead.
Otherwise the room itself was nice & very well appointed, just not cool enough, and not a suite.
The men in Concierge were great! We had a fish & chips recommendation from Malcolm, and it was such a wonderful place to visit. He also helped us with walking directions everywhere. Great service there.
At checkout we again mentioned our concerns w/the air and suite, & were offered free Starbucks. I Ugh! Not pleased overall.
