18 th birthday celebration
Birthday celebration, my daughter was given some chocolates on arrival and the room was set up with some cake and a lovely message which was a nice surprise. View was of a wall, but we were in central London and didn’t spend much time in the room so it didn’t matter. Staff were very friendly and attentive on arrival and departure. Would stay again.

Not the most comfortable bed but enjoyed our room otherwise. Would have been nice if the TV volume could have gone higher than 18. Staff was great about helping us stow our luggage and was quick to get it for us when ready for check in.

The main entrance is impressive and clean. The staff were pleasant. We quickly stored our bags in the room and went the theatre. On returning we noticed that the sink was cracked, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, bath and sink stained and finally and most important only one tea bag and milk for both of us. Breakfast was lovely but the greeting was non informative or helpful. The other staff were great. On my experience I’ve had better from a multi budget establishment.

King sized room
I booked a double room and was upgraded to a king sized bed, it was a good room. TV worked well, shower was good, air conditioning was good. Only downside was no view or windows did not open. But it was quiet.

I like the area close to everything I needed to see. But I don’t like the service of this hotel. I purposely pick this hotel because of its name as we preferred American brand. We stayed there two nights (Thursday and Friday). The AC never worked. First day we immediately complained because it was a hot day especially on the top floor. They told us they will give us a desk fan and we can open the window if it gets too hot. It was hot and we couldn’t sleep much, open the window helps but it’s very noisy. Cars are honking their horn all night. The next day we complained again and told them we need to switch room with a working AC, they told us it will get fix. Called them a few times to remind them out AC is still not working. They sent a technician to our room, didn’t do much. They told us it’s fixed now, after a few minutes it stopped working. Called them again they said they are working on it. Since they can’t fix it we Asked if they will compensate us for the two days without AC. They said they will tell to the manager but that never happened. I booked this hotel paying almost $500 a night so my family could enjoy our vacation but it let us down. Very disappointed!!
