This is a lovely inn and I e wanted to stay here for a long time. The check in was great. Jaz was very friendly and efficient. The room was beautiful, very clean; the bathroom amenities were plentiful and very pleasant (excellent hair dryer and amazing shower), Nespresso coffee machine, comfortable bedding. They really thought of everything. The only reason for four and not five stars was the breakfast. Because there weren’t a lot of people staying in the hotel, they had a breakfast menu instead of a buffet - which was certainly fine, better in fact. But sadly, both of our breakfasts came out cold (eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast). The bacon looked like the previous day’s leftovers. I asked for it to be cooked a little more and the waitress literally brought it back after 30 seconds - couldn’t have been in the microwave for more than 15 seconds. Still cold. I had to ask for jam, she didn’t bring any water, we had to ask for juice, etc. I felt like I was being a pain but these are standard breakfast items. It was disappointing because everything else about our stay was perfect.

I had a pleasant and quiet stay. The bathrobe was luxurious and it was the perfect getaway. Breakfast was amazingly ng for options and quality. The real room key is also a nice touch. I’ll be back.

Stayed in one of the fireplace rooms- very nice! Dinner was fantastic. Our server knew we were celebrating our anniversary and brought us complimentary champagne. Spa day the next day, couples massage and pedicures. Highly recommend.
