Room had all kitchen set up for 2. Tiny but had all utensils, pots etc including nice wine glasses. Comfortable bed and clean spacious bathroom. Did not like being in “basement” floor. And very poor lighting.

I loved this stay! My friend and I visited for 3 nights from Australia, it was our first trip to London. Although the location is a little further out from the main sights of London we still found the quiet and pretty location of Kensington lovely. The hotel is gorgeous, small but so much thought has gone into the layout and decor. The staff were absolutely lovely, they made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was included in our stay and they had a delicious menu to choose from. Our room was small, but comfortable. It had many great conveniences like a fridge, washer/dryer, kitchenette and more. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone who is not concerned about being right in the heart of London.

My wife and I enjoyed our five night vacation in London while staying at Ember Locke Kensington. The staff was warm and welcoming, and our room was very comfortable with plenty of amenities. I enjoyed a wonderful Chai tea latte from their coffee bar while sitting outside in their lovely garden patio eating area the day we arrived. We also took advantage of their bar and ordered a delicious pizza made on-site later that night, which we conveniently ate in our room as we were exhausted and it was getting late. The location is a quick 5 minute walk to 'the underground,' or subway, and there is a bus stop very close by. We would definitely stay at Ember Locke again if traveling to London.

We enjoyed our stay. A few minor issues. It felt somewhat chaotic in the lobby/dining area. It seemed there were a lot of new staff members and there seemed to be confusion about how things worked. Minor irritations in the room. The coat hangers on the metal coatrack just kept sliding off. The room was designed with a huge light fixture installed on the wall right next to the TV so it impacted the viewability.

This hotel was beautiful! The staff were friendly and helpful (we loved Rose, such a sweetheart and we shared a few laughs with her). The room was beautiful and well decorated. The garden out back was a nice space to have a meal. It will be a few years until we are able to return to London but we will stay here again next time.

Let me start by saying George and John are the absolute best! I left my phone in the Uber and they quickly jumped in to assist. They were helpful with restaurant suggestions, transportation and directions. Every hotel should have a George and John! The Ember Locke was clean and a bit quirky (in the best way) and the coffee shop and restaurant are good as well. The hotel was a good walking distance to restaurants and the tube. Take time to sip a drink in the lovely garden out back! Cheers!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was close to the metro. The hotel was decorated so cute. Just a few things needed a little updating but all in all it was a great hotel for the money. Would definitely stay here again. Also try the Turkish restaurant the staff recommends.
