Very nice room and staff. Room was small but manageable. AC was working slowly, flushing the toilet didn’t work well, shower drain was slow.
Lovely design.
Lovely hotel with a charming restaurant. The rooms have space to unpack and relax. Would definitely stay again. Courteous, helpful staff. Convenient location.
The room is nice but the staff is amazing. I came for a second time and the front desk remembers me. The staff were all very friendly. I would come back
Charming and convenient. This boutique hotel combines character with excellent customer service in a location that is close to the underground/tube and lots of restaurants and shops. I would 100% stay again and recommend. It’s a great value option that doesn’t compromise on cleanliness and style.
Ember Locke Kensington was the perfect location for our family spring break. Quieter neighborhood to get good rest, close to Earl’s Court tube with three lines for quick connections through the city, a bus stop right in front of the hotel that’ll take you to the museums, and a Sainsbury’s around the corner to load up on groceries/snacks. Would definitely stay again!
Staff was very helpful and gave us an upgrade to a very sizable one bedroom apartment. Room was decorated so cute and the in-room washing machine was helpful after a long travel week.
The stairway from the kitchen area on the lower floor to the bedroom above was tight and challenging for someone older with stair issues. We had to ask for instruction on the use of the appliances. Staff was wonderful tho.
Booked 2 nights at the Ember Locke for the first leg of our trip, and we liked it so much that we cancelled our other booked hotel for the second leg, and came back for 3 more nights.
-The location was perfect (5 min walk from Earl’s Court station).
-The rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable and we had everything we needed.
-The bathroom was very clean and shower was amazing.
-The food at the coffee shop and the restaurant was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
-Staff was friendly and helpful.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE
I am shocked by my stay in this place. I booked the hotel online and read the whole hotel description very carefully.
This place is not a hotel; it is more like an Airbnb. The first shock is that during the 6 nights I stayed, there was no maid service for the room, which means that if. You would like your room cleaned up. GOOD LUCK. I was not previously informed that this place would provide maid service after a week's stay. Now, what kind of hotel has no phone service to connect to the reception? THIS IS THE ONE!! If you need fresh towels, please go to the reception, and someone will bring toilet paper to your room within 24 hours. That is what you get, a very "hippie: hotel with a bunch of young people hanging out at tables and working in a coop space. The Hotel, so-called, restaurant will not take room charges. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE.
I loved how unique this hotel was and eould have marked it higher except consistent emails trying to charge us for checking in early and upgrading- 6 of them. Then to automatically be charged a service charge for drinks ftom the bar was disgusting.
Nice hotel but money grabbing at every opportunity lets it down.
A Stylish and Family-Friendly Stay at Ember Locke, Kensington:
I had a wonderful stay at Ember Locke in Kensington with my family (a party of four/ with 2 teens), and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The hotel is hip and trendy, with a modern aesthetic that still feels warm and welcoming. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious and thoughtfully laid out — it was especially nice that the kids had their own room and bathroom. The beautiful garden in the back was a peaceful bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and I’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!
Super close to Earl Court station for quick access to underground.
