The AC wasn’t on so we had to leave our windows open which is bizarre especially since we paid so much for this accommodation. There’s a hospital couple mins away so sleep wasn’t comfortable as we were hearing ambulance sounds through the day and night as the results of keeping the windows open.

Great location, comfy rooms and an awesome vibe

Quite simply, this is a fantastic hotel in an excellent location. The pictures included in the listing are accurate. The common areas and the two rooms we had were exactly what we expected. There is even a free laundry (with washing powder) by the fitness room! A bus stop out front, a 20 minute loading zone for cars just a few yards away and loads of restaurants and shops surrounding the Earls Court Tube station just a 3 minute walk down the street. The hotel had many amenities and activities on, and was always buzzing with people in the bar and lobby. It felt safe and fun and the staff was pleasant and inviting. A real gem of a hotel that I will definitely seek out on my next trip to London. I would offer one small piece of advice to any future visitor: Although the rooms have heat, they do not have cooling (not unusual for UK rooms). We were there in March and could just crack the window for some air but if you were to visit in the warmer months, you may want to inquire about a fan.

Beautifully and uniquely decorated space. Staff were friendly. Room comfortable. Only issue was a strange smell in the room; I don't know if it's because of the way the kitchen and room are connected but the room had a smell of food rubbish. However, reception were nice about it and listened to the feedback, which I appreciated.

Ember Locke is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a very convenient location. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it was rather hot in our room, but the hotel would not turn on the A/C. We were told to open our windows. This didn’t help much and the street noise was very loud. Other than this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Super comfy beds!

The staff was the best!!! They were so friendly and helpful to me for anything I needed including transportation info, check in for the airport, computer help, etc. Shout outs to George, Patricia, Bea, John, Michael, Oscar, so many great people. Ember Locke Kensington is by far my favorite hotel stay in London. Rooms are comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and stylishly decorated. The hotel is very convenient to the Underground and bus options, and close to all the usual tourist destinations. The staff is gracious and very helpful. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing hotel in London, if you like your privacy and safety. They only clean rooms once a week upon request if you’re okay with that this place is amazing. Staff is friendly and the food downstairs is delicious

The hotel is stunning, lovely decor. They were accommodating as I arrived very late. The breakfast was nice. The room was spacious and clean. One issue I had was the window in the room. I'm very conscious about my safety, especially travelling alone as a woman. The room was on the lower ground floor, could be accessible via the street. . It was around 2am and checked the window before sleeping. It was open and I couldn't lock it. It was in two parts and jammed. I had to call the front desk to come down. Dinish had to climb up on the chair to secure the top window so that the bottom could close and lock. I'm glad I thought to check for my own safety

Absolutely LOVED our time @ Ember Locke! The staff were extremely kind & helpful, with a big shout out to Patricia who assisted us throughout our 7 night stay. She went the extra mile to help us @ check in, recognize my birthday and warmed us with a wonderful goodbye hug. Everyone was helpful, the community warm & inviting, with easy access to multiple public transit lines, food onsite & easily walkable locations and a grocery store within 3 minutes door to door. We felt very safe walking the area day/night. Just can't say enough good things about our experience @ Ember Locke. Truly wonderful, Thank you!!
