It was tiny , the light flickered and the blinders where broken in the bathroom so anyone could look in. Also they messed up my other booking for my friends room.
Upon arrival was told that room was not paid for as I had expected they said they had received my card details but had no card processing facilities and I needed to pay the full 10 days in advance in cash that I could go to a teller machine in a nearby service station to make the withdrawal, which I did and insisted on a receipt, I will verify the payment made to Expedia upon my return to Aus. The room had a small Dinning table with 2 three leg chairs which fell over backwards unless weight was put on the seat, the bedroom area had a small square coffee table that one leg had fallen off of and a double bed with 2 very thin pillows there were no draws or clothes hanging facilities. toilet and bathroom were seperate and shared and were clean and tidy. TV worked but took 40 mins to come on
Dreadful. Yes it was cheap, but dirty, filthy carpet. Shower produced only a low flow of warm water. Bathroom door wouldn't open enough because bed obstructed. Receptionist (pleasant guy) tried charging a higher rate than was quoted.
Definitely wouldn't recommend. There are better cheap hotels/guest houses in the area.
Wasn't as good as expected. Ended up having to share a bathroom/toilet if you want to call it that. No one on Reception when I first arrived, and when they did come through after another customer found them they were on the phone. Room smelt like someone might have been smoking on there, and being a non-smoker didn't find it very nice.
I will highly recomend to not stay in this hotel basic thing which is required is comfortable bed and privacy in this hotel both things are not present.
Bed is acctualy whith concave groved matres and we can easily hearand understand the voices from nearby room.
Toilets are badly maintained.
And room had some smell
Carpet is full of dust
Over all not value for money go for central london hotels
Clean hotel, but the bin wasnt changed during.my 6 day stay, the other guests were very noisy even very late at night,as was the neighbourhood good price clean room bit small very close to lots of shops and cafes
terrible place , loads of very loud all night ,music and shouting , dubious people hanging around inside and outside , obvious brothel . very basic , room clean enough , basic , but shared toilet and bathroom disgusting . did not sleep all night , left to go to work at 5 am even though i was not due to start until 9 . never again
V noisy. People shouting through the night. Sirens outside. Carpet so dirty, didn't want to stand in bare feet!

The location was good with regular buses going to the Excel centre right outside. The only complaints would be that the room we stayed in had a boiler which made the room very hot - not particularly comfortable in the middle of summer, and that it could be noisy at night depending on the other guests. I stayed here with two others but had I been alone (as a women) I might have felt less safe. The staff were always pleasant.
Stayed here on the 29/06/16.
Was raided for unknown reasons by the police (apparently it was a prostitution house but I can't confirm that). Might be able to find a story about it on the internet. Room was disgusting, was in one of the basement rooms - mould everywhere, bed was stained and only 1 out of 4 lights worked.
Would NEVER recommended. Please, please, please pay more for a better hotel.
The room was disgusting, nothing like the photos, the bed, the walls and the ceiling all going mouldy. The noise throughout the night, I don't even know how anyone can sleep in this place.

not bad for the price i paid. near to shops and good transport facilities.
We were provided with a small basement room, for 2 people, so had no windows. being located right next to the kitchen there was often a weird smell and the air was damp. the room Appeared to have previously had a leaking problem with water damage on the ceiling, whilst some of the furniture was broken. Whilst there was an effort to keep the room clean it still seemed dirty, with multiple stains on the floor, mattress and base of the bed. The check in was fairly quick and staff offered to carry our stuff down the stairs, other than this we had little interaction with them.
The Hotel was located quite far from our desired location, thus not suitable for our personal requirements due to walking to save money. Though was located near a range of shops and bus stops.
Shocking. Place should be knocked down
Bed was broken. The lights didn't work (any of them )
No remote control for TV and in such a safe location there were safety bars on all the windows.
Walls paper thin, so I heard every word of the argument next door at 2AM.
I run marathons, and not even I felt like I could run that fast to safety !
Hotel charged my card 3 times clearing out my bank account, total was £78 hotel took this then took another £78 and a further £360 when chalk aged they tried to deny it, took a whole day of me crashing them to finally get a refund. Room was tiny and in bad condition looked nothing like the pics. Was at front of hotel near reception and it was very noisy and lots of people outside window throughout the night also room smelt badly of cigars even tho it was a non smoking room. Room was even cleaned during my stay despite it being advertised as daily maid service. Only good thing was it was close to where I needed to be
