Amazing stay
Simply outstanding service by all the people working there, kind, informative and supportive. The hotel is very central, close to museums and metro station. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good price/quality ratio. Definitely recommended!

I enjoyed my stay! The hotel is nicer in person. I was bothered that they did not have wash clothes and there was no microwave anywhere in the hotel. However, there is a microwave across the street. Staff was great and the area is beautiful.

Average Hotel, adequate.
Hotel was adequate, room was in the basement, good size but showing signs of wear, and unpleasant odour in the basement area. The shower was great, but overall I wouldn't chose to return to this same hotel.

Property is quite worn down. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and outside. Carpeted floors are also quite dirty. Aside from that, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.

Conveniently situated small hotel - great for Natural History museum, Knightsbridge and Hyde park. Close to South Kensington station. Rooms are small, bathrooms even smaller but clean and modern. Staff were helpful

Gainsborough Hotel
Hotel situated near Natural History Museum, Science Museum and the V&A Museum. Outside, hotel impressive and reception area is really good. Service and attention to detail by the staff excellent. The double room was ok. Large enough for a short stay. The bed was comfortable but the decor was looking a little tired. The bathroom was small and smelled stale. Buffet breakfast is provided in their sister hotel across the street. Good choice of food and drinks.
