The location is very good as it is near the train stations and there are a number of places to eat in the area. Tereza, on reception was very helpful, and that made a big difference. It would be nice if there was an elevator, but I did get help with my bag which was good. Marie Bridget Dundon

Very helpful friendly staff. Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Only drawbacks for us was the heatwave and booking a hotel without air con. Also, we were room 3 in the lower ground at the front. This has 2 doubles and a single. For security purposes we couldn’t leave the window open for air, plus some noise disruption which is to be expected of course but first night we struggled to adjust to the underground trains that sounded like they were right under us. I would definitely come back however perhaps to a different room.

As a Brit would say Lovely
The George is a good place to stay and enjoy London. Convenient to pubs, restaurants, stores and the London Underground. Would stay with them again if the need arises.

The property is on a row of multiple hotels. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One, I think she was having a bad day or it had been a long day. The one downside that I didn’t catch was although it has 3 floors there are no elevators and the stairs are a bit narrow when hauling luggage up to the top floor. There are several eating options and it is close to public transportation. There didn’t appear to be any dedicated parking

Family trip to London
Ideal location, Easy check in, the room was bigger than anticipated sleeping 5 people, everything was lovely and clean and all the staff we saw and spoke to were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was especially good with plenty of choice for everyone. We particularly liked that we could leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and after checkout. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

The staff was very friendly, friendly, but somewhat older hotel was a bit of a challenge with the summer weather. I was in the very top-most room of the hotel and with no fan or air conditioner, It was very difficult to sleep with the heat. I assume this is quite rare in London, so it may not affect your trip like it did mine. Also, for people with limited mobility, the narrow staircase and lack of an elevator can be a challenge. That did not affect me personally, but I can imagine for older travelers or people who dislike stairs, it could be a problem.
