Characterful stay, comfortable bed, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. One issue is that it takes a long time (5 minutes +) for the hot water to come through for the shower. I mentioned this to the receptionist, who explained that as I was staying at the top of the hotel which is in an old building, it takes a while for the hot water to come through. Just something to consider if you are in a rush and don’t like cold showers.

The theming is very cute as they have leaned into the Harry Potter story with gusto. We arrived early so we left our luggage and went out. By the time we returned, our bags were in our room already so check in was simple. Beds are comfortable. Room is small but well appointed. Several amenities to make it more comfortable.

Stayed 2 nights in the Wizards Chamber with my family of 5, the beds were so comfortable and no noise at night, it felt like the room was sound proof (it really helped us with our jet lag from CA), breakfast was great, staff was so so nice The only thing I could say negative is that the room for my family of 5 was a bit small but nothing that we couldn't manage, and that doesn’t change the fact that we would defiantly stay here again. (Again this is for the Wizards Chamber room)

There was a long wait at check in as lots of people arrived at once and there were problems with the card reader. My room was comfortable and the amenities were good. The hotel itself is beautiful. My friend booked the same room as me (single) and there was unfortunately a very unpleasant smell from the bathroom. The staff were pleasant and helpful!

The biggest advantage of Georgian House is its location, 6 minute walk to Victoria Station, close to many major attractions; yet it’s located on a quiet street, tucked away from the hustles and noise. Another plus point is the staff are very friendly and attentive. The biggest downside is no elevator and the single room is really small, the size of a camper van, even a petite woman has troubles moving around.

Nice hotel let down by uncomfortable bed

Lovely hotel, not far to walk from the tube. Staff were all friendly and room looked great. Compact bathroom but well appointed with a decent shower and decent toiletries. My only issue was the bed. It was so uncomfortable that I hardly slept. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t stay again.
