Great place for an overnight stay in the capital close to Kings Cross. Very reasonable price and ideal for short stay. Communal bathrooms won’t suit everyone but they were very clean. Will certainly be back! Beautiful college and nice safe location.

Great budget option in central London
The room was spacious, modern and clean. The location is very central. Staff were helpful. For the money, I cannot fault it, really a great option for a stay in central London. The breakfast was good, although not included in the price.

Great location. Cold reception, bad bed & bathroom
Reception staffed by cold unsmiling woman who really wasn't the best thing to encounter after a long days travelling. Accommodation was adequate (I knew what I was buying into) and clean but, the mattress was a disgrace. Springs coming through. The shower rail was broken and the shower hose was leaking badly. The location was quiet and leafy. Unusual for central London. Would I return? Not until I hear that they spend time and money fixing things. For £40 more, I could have had a larger room with excellent facilities and a double bed that all worked at the Doubletree Hilton nearer to Kings Cross.

A beautiful and affordable stay
Our double room was lovely with a nice terrace that overlooked the surrounding city. The staff were friendly and helped us store our bags temporarily both before and after our stay. The courtyard in the middle of the building is beautiful and the location of Goodenough College, a short 10 minute walk to Kings Cross station, is perfect for getting around the city.

Perfect for my trip
Perfect for a short solo trip. Staff were friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk from the underground and supermarket. The room was large. There was a bit of noise from the street but earplugs sorted that. The shared toilets and showers were clean and never busy.

Student accommodation advertised as a hotel.
It was sold as a hotel but when we arrived realised it was student accommodation being used to house guests out of term time. Arrived at the reception of the address given after ordering the room, but were then told that our room was in another of their three buildings. The next building we were sent to still wasn't correct so again we had to walk several hundred yards to a third reception. Here we were given a key card and told to walk to the entrance to our building in which our accommodation was located. But the key didn't work so went back to reception again. Eventually we were taken to the accommodation. It was a basement apartment which was dark and smelt of damp. The bed and towels were clean and we had soap/shower gel etc. There was no TV which was a surprise given the basic amenities of a standard UK hotel. The overall location felt safe though and the staff were friendly.

Althouth the service was excellent, the room they gave me smelt like a dump and there were discusting stains on the carpet. They changed the room for a better one when I told them.
