Quiet location. Good room for the money, unbeatable for a double bed crash-pad. Located near two underground stations, Russell Square and Holborn, which made my navigation of London very convenient.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room and other areas were clean, room felt a little dated but the hotel and area is that type of building. Pleasant stay. Great for getting into main areas of London and a peaceful location.

It was ok. Good location. Checkout was 11am yet I had a phone call at 10.56am to remind me of this. I don't think guests should be bothered while they're rushing to leave. Fair enough if it was after 11am but not before. Also an alarm went off at 7.30am and woke us up, hence us sleeping in a bit later than we wanted. There was no apology for this.

Rubbish service, nearly rude front office staff. Leaky roof was ignored, noise and damp kept me up. Bed old, mattress tired. Bathroom meh: shower in the bath and poor controls don't help. Honestly, very underwhelming.
