Staff were rude and unhelpful, I have never experienced such an awful check in process. Lobby presentation and amenities are great. Rooms are shabby, stains on the sheet, staff agreed to sort but didn’t. Executive room promises bathrobes and slippers, again offered to remedy but didn’t. Only saving grace is that executive lounge was great and location is excellent.
The reason I gave 3 stars is because the location is excellent. The rooms are small but comfortable. However, the downside is that we stayed on the first floor, and since the metro runs underneath, every time it passed during the night or early morning, we woke up to a rumbling noise that felt like an earthquake.
Checking in room was not ready, but checked in so I could just get keys when ready. There was no offer of upgrade, or any perk as Hotels. com gets me.
My room was huge last time. This time it was a closet. I booked 2 rooms under my name. The other room my associate got was better sized, but still small.
When I came back to get the key, after already paying I was told I didn’t have a reservation. I had to wait for person that checked me in to straighten it out.
Only stayed one night room to be woken up at 5.45am by the Fire Alarm and had to evacuate the building for an hour. No explanation or apology from the hotel. Lobby is nice and modern but the rooms are very poor standard
Ideal location and very nice hotel have been a few times and always make a point booking here when in London

Standards are dropping at this hotel. Since i changed from the Hard Rock, the staff just done seem bothered. As for hotels.com perks, there weren't any!
Swerve the hotels overpriced breakfast, too many people queuing for a below average offer.
The overall impression is that the place is excellent. Lots to do around and accommodations are updated.
Reception is excellent specially if known ahead of time you have reserved a suite which includes a dedicated reception lounge.
